Another great daily video of your sailing. Like the onboard camera footage, its shows the excitement of the race very well. Fingers crossed for you to gain a few extra places.
Great recap. Looked like miserable conditions to be out in, but it was exciting to watch as a spectator! Ben has been killing it and the drone coverage seems to be getting better with every event.
👍There was plenty of action and very enjoyable close competition shown in those race events which are always delightful and exciting to watch, although I wish that it was me competing in them myself.
For me it is interesting to see and hear the behind the scenes stuff. Ben is commenting great on the PWA live stream and all the races are exciting to watch, but your videos here are so nicely edited and personalized so it adds a lot of value for the viewer besides just watching races. Helmet cam rocks! I have the same helmet, maybe worth also cutting a camera in 😅. Maybe an idea for collaboration for WIP to sell the helmets with camera slots 😊
As a beginner IMHO would be nice if you explain what gear you use for each race; sail, board liters, foil and also the weather conditions, basically knots and wave size!! Thanks a lot for all your content, is definitely the best windsurf content on all the fuc*** internet!
Hi Niko, great racing! very demanding tough conditions, cold windy with algae! Regarding your equipment it would be interesting to know the foil combo you use, say in 5.7 sail conditions as today (yesterday) you use the shorter 95 or normal 105 or other fuselage? Thanks!!
What SPECIES of seaweed is it, is what I want to know. Can you get a sample of it and a close-up shot? Is it something that's always present at Sylt or just this year?
Windsurfers are complaining a lot - it seems to be part of the sport. Nature is difficult to predict and to control - that is very frustrating but also exciting.
Close racing is dangerous especially on the foil and they want a fair competition. In my opinion it's understandable even though bad conditions are part of the sport.
After more of 40 years of windsurfing I started this year windfoiling. Is it indeed FUN. Try it. Yes Mario is honest. Some products are not foolproof. Take good advice.
Regarding conditions/ sea weed from spectators view: keep on going…. Its for all riders the same. And if you see the results its not a gamble. Most of it the same guys are in the finals. From a riders perspective i can understand the frustration.
I really love how you combine the audio from the livestream in line with the actioncam footage! Great video 👏
Same comment - Great videos these.
Understand exactly what Nico means about the "ritual" of the start countdown.
He's doing well. GO NICO 🙂
It's a level playing field, the best prepared and most adaptable windsurfers will win. Great videos, both PWA and yours.
...great update guys... special thxs to Lars for an awesome edit... like/love the insights - behind the doors... awesome job guys, well done
Very exciting, those first person shots!!🤙

Really super footage. There was no windsurfing when I was the right age and now you have added foiling. I would have loved it. Looks super fun.

Yup, that's the best. Makes it authentic. :)
Go go Nico!!!!
Super exciting, dense reporting. Great to watch! (And good on you, of course!!!)
🎉🎉🎉 great race, Nico.

Klasse Video! Danke dafür.
Good stuff!
Ben and Nico ❤❤❤
great footage !
GO NICOOO
We like to see you on the wooden board Version II 🤩
I like the music
Looks like the sea state in San Francisco mid tide
Aluminium Stem on the base of the NP foil ?

Yes completely !

Seaweed is always an issue for foiling but “ algae changing the density”🤔- haven’t heard that one before!
😂

do you guys hang with the freestylers like Balz?
Hey man , good fight considering conditions:) question here, are you visiting DamX event in NL next weekend?
interested in the harness line😍
Lines are from LISA Windsurfing 😉
French windsurfers are the one complaining the most as usual (i'm french) 😂
Seaweed is part of nature..

well thats rough conditions
Liveübertragung mit der Helmkamera ? Das geht ?
Die Camera ist nicht aus dem stream 😅
Hey, Nico, are those water proof headphones in your ears or just some ear protection?
Moin Nico! Sogar die Spam-Girls sind schneller
Haha!!
Loving all the on board videos ❤
👍
I was told that electric screwdriver melts the plugs.
someone intentionally sabotaged the course with sea-weeds 😎they should invent foils that cut-through the weeds!
It’s not weed. It’s an algae
9 degrees- omg 😮
Typical Matteo. If it's not going your way you complain. It worked last year.
WTF those things fly
Big crash😧
getting wet isn't carnage. try slipping out of a loop attempt and landing on the board's rail for a femur fracture.
Why only foil, and, no fins, too bad!
With fin you almost wouldnt have any races. Foil mich more exciting
my preference goes to a classification with fins, this has more value whereas here in foil it is a winner by default... it is random. fall, algae etc.
Disagree. If you see the results the same guys ate always on the top, in the finals.
Ok!?! Boards Slalom !?!? Whit 80 cm 90 cm !?! Et Formula Foil da 100 cm !?!? End sails mq!?! End wind knots!?! Bho!?!
