What do you think about people with sickle cell Because im trying to do any workout without a gym I sometimes just can't and I want to Can you make a video or talk about it please
Jax I wanted to say. You've inspired me a lot man. With the inspiration of you and my girlfriend I lost 60 pounds. I went from 210 to 150 in 7 months. I'm really proud of my progress. And I owe you a HUGE thank you. So thanks Jax. Godspeed and God Bless.
Get a rival who likes to brag about how much better he/she is at something you're good at, and work to surpass them, then rub it in their face until they surpass you, rinse n repeat.
Do that with the you of yesterday . You dont need a rival, but I admit an actual rival would work better. It’s hard to find someone who can be a good rival, most people usually flunk out along the way and youre left by yourself.
New New yeah that’s how I got pretty good at ball, my grades team is undafeated and is way better than everyone so it really made me work a lot harder to get on there level
being fit is mostly mental challenge any muscle will get stronger if you exercise it every time I do my workout I think of the reasons why I am doing this and the advantages from doing this and remember all the people who inspired me
I wanted to give a nod to your comment about transformation being "relaxed". I got your hero's will program, but due to an injury (a large vein in my right leg actually ruptured during a squat) excersise has been somewhat sidelined. So I approached my nutrition as though it were my fitness. I thought if I could build a neural path for working out, why can't I do that for food? As a result I've lost almost 30lbs in 6 weeks and I'm not stressed out like I have been with eating plans in the past. With a little luck I should be cleared for full exercise next month and it'll really be on.
There’s a self-imposed punishment I do to myself whenever I miss a workout because I chose to be lazy. The next time I go to the gym, I do that day’s workout, as well as the one I missed, and other days I missed, all in one session. I once had a three hour workout because I missed a few days. Oh I missed leg day yesterday and today is chest and shoulders day. Well now I got to do both.
I was always skeptical about the "once you keep working out long enough you'll learn to like it" mantra. I never seemed to improve, so I always gave up after a while. But now I've been consistently doing my wall pushups (to build up strength for normal ones) for several weeks. So thanks Jax - you and Danberu motivated me to keep it up.
Legit truth about the relaxed body transformation, I havent needed motivation in a while, at this point its just body maintenance, like brushing my teeth. Its just part of a daily routine after enough time. And you see the difference between when you started
It's been 3 weeks since I've been serious about working out and I'm loving it! I find that it helps that I don't think about the end goal and just enjoy the journey. I'm enjoying my journey with each passing day. Also, think of the goal as a checkpoint, because once we reach where we want to be, it's no reason to stop. So move the checkpoint once you reach your original checkpoint.
I have always watched your videos randomly as a teenager, but lately, you have been getting to my heart and I feel very good listening to you say all these things. I am almost 20 years old now.
I had major adominal surgery in July and couldn't walk for weeks and it's suppose to take me a year to heal and recover. It's been 7 months now and I'm able to walk and do a little bit of jogging, I used to workout every single day and had the strength to deadlift 300lbs. But now I'm struggling with trying to get back into it. I have watched your warm up videos and they have helped so much I've doing them as often as I can and can't wait to finally get back to were I was and go beyond that. So thank you so much jaxblade for your videos they have really helped.
I like the ten minute tip. I've actually heard that before from Scooby1961; he actually said five minutes, but the idea of it has gotten me through a few rough days. Most of the time, I end up doing the whole workout, and it ends up pretty great. I agree with exercise being relaxed too. Sometimes I get amped listening to music, but mostly for cardio. Most weight workouts, I lift calmly with slower music.
I agree with you 100%. Doing a small amount of exercise every day is way better and will give you energy vs doing none at all. I dont do 10 minutes a day but i at least do 5 or 6 minutes and am happy that i have been able to keep it up for the past 5 months. I already lost 30lbs and have a lot more energy now :). You my good sir are amazing and i always look forward to your videos and see what else i can learn from them. Stay awesome and keep doing what you do Jax.
I’ve been watching your channel for a minute now and all your videos have helped me. This one was especially helpful because now I understand why it’s so hard for me to get back into working out. I’ve started and stopped so many times in the last 4ish years it’s insane. Shit, I just graduated from bootcamp and I’m in the best shape of my life. I thought I’d come home and it’d be easy to continue exercising and it’s been just as hard as it was before I left. I just have to stop being a lazy fuck and constantly remind myself why I want to workout.
This video definitely did the trick for making me want to get back into training, or at least training more. It helped me feel motivated again. I also feel like a good motivator is keeping track of your progress, because I didn’t keep progress of how far I’ve gotten so far and I felt like I haven’t made any progress. I felt this way because I had nothing to compare myself to. I had heard people say stuff like “You’re so skinny now” or “ Look at you” but I didn’t know I had gotten that far until I saw my 6th grade year book photo. I’ve still got fat to burn a muscle to build but at least now I’ve got the motivation to get there.
My dark secret is that strength training and fitness got me out of my first major bout of depression (along with therapy). If I take more than a couple rest days, I feel the tendrils of depression coming back. More often than not, I am chasing a goal and not fleeing depression. Learning to be more goal-oriented than depression-fearing has been a goal of mine for years now. I'm making steady progress. :)
I took a break during December and it was prolly the worst thing I did in my journey. It's much much harder to get back into where I was. Still trying to get back into it. But watching your vids always gets me motivated! Keep up the good work bro!
Yo Jax ur such an amazing and awesome motivation to me and everyone , watching ur vids helps alot and words can't explain how much I'm thankful , God Bless u bro stay awesome
College has caused me to fall off hard, it's crazy how easy that can happen. I used to work up to 13 hours per day with two jobs and still made time to practice martial arts every evening but now I'm hardly working 15 hours a week with a base full time class schedule and can hardly give myself 45 min/day to do a little cardio. But I've been gradually making strides to get back on things. Thanks for the neural pathway tips!
Not gonna lie, I accidentally did that neural pathway thing when it comes to upper body workouts (dumbbells and push ups). I’m now known as the guy who does a bunch of random pushups for fun lmao
The best guide for creating new neural pathways is Tiny Habits by BJ Fogg. He lays it all out in his book, how to start really small to ensure you don't drop out before the habit is established (nothing stops you from going as hardcore as you want, just do it after the habit is working), how to hit that dopamine by celebrating small wins to strengthen the habit's neural pathways etc.
Really loved this video Jaxs man. I am self-motivated, but I feel like you can always improve on what you already do well. These types of videos where you just sit down and talk/teach us ways to improve are some of my favorites. To add onto what you were saying about a "relaxed" transformation I feel like its one of the best experiences because you get to enjoy every step of the journey without being rushed. Going through all the ups and downs.
When Goku reached UI, I found your channel and ever since you are one of my influences on getting in the best shape of my life. Thank you so much love your content!!

I don’t know why but my recent DBZ rewatch (just finished the cell saga) & anything an everything MHA have always made me feel so motivated. There’s just something about the two that makes me want to be better. The stories, characters, OST’s, etc. it all so motivating to me =3 nothing gets me going more when lifting than the “training to be like all might” mindset I have. LOL
My biggest motivation is having a plan and recording the data. I only started lifting seriously 3 months ago, I looked back at my first few workouts recently and I was instantly motivated to continue as I saw how far I'd come in weight lost and weights lifted.
I'm a pretty skinny guy and I've wanted to start working out for about a year or so now but I always did it for about a month and then stopped but I'm going to try again and instead of giving up I'm going to do my absolute best to be consistent. Leaving this comment so I can either beat myself up if I quit later or see how far I've come if I stumble across it again
This video helped me a ton. Just today I was thinking about taking a break from my goal, because I was frustrated that It was harder than last time. However this night I tried doing just 10 minutes and I did pretty well. Also I think this will help me continue, because in the past (just as you said) I used to take a break then it would do a domino affect. I am so glad that I can understand this. Thank you very much!
I have to agree with the long time goal. I started last year at 284 pounds, by the end of 2019 i was down to 214 pounds, with more muscle mass thanks to lifting some small to moderate (20 - 60 lbs) pound dumbbells. This year I am getting a full barbell and going to see where that leads me!
The thing is bout motivation keeping at it.What I hate is that most of my friends say they want to get in shape but they don't do it but other than that I do a workout 5 days a week for an hour give myself 2 days of to rest. I love the earring, btdubs. Also. I hate lifting weights but try to do it whenever I go to the gym. Lately I’ve started listing to “Onegai Muscle” on repeat to help me keep going and it helps so far. 😂
jax, I have come so far in the last 11 months as far as weight loss and building muscle. it is thanks to you and Athlean-X for being my inspiration and teachers. and others like JG calisthenics and brinx fitness for serving as my goal and proof that I can do it. with this in mind, I wanted to change it up with my leg routine. so on this day, I chose to do your Sanji TLTT video plus another exercise that you did in the U.A class A video to increase my THICCC levels. and instead of the regular scissor kicks, I did the leg raises in that infinity motion for some extra challenge. I am also going to try my very best to give intermittent fasting a good try for extra fat loss.
I had to get kakkarot cuz I was mostly done pre ordering it and I just wanted the gameplay I'm also still waiting on the Megaman Zero collection Zero is that NIGGA👏🏽🔥🔥🔥
Bruh I started jogging in place up to an hour everyday in January, started eating better, but then so many inconveniences came up, like it was raining too much, my asthma acting up, and my bipolar disorder just making me not interested... i’m kinda getting peeved about being a frickin brick man but I need more than just jogging... so that’s why I’m going to look through your channel and hopefully get into not being a fat brick, and be a buff brick.
Yo I started working out like earlier this month and I worked out a routine rn, but it's VERY relaxed. Just jogging in place 40 minutes to an hour a day, or a full album. So like instead of watching the clock in my workout, I just take an album like, a MJ album or a RHCP (which are lit for working out), and try to finish it without quitting for more than like 30 seconds at a time, so I'll just keep going and going. The reason I jog in place is cuz going out in the street to jog usually ends in like 8 minutes cuz I don't like going out too far and just get winded way more easily because of my asthma, so jogging in place just makes it so much better, I'm able to workout longer and easier. also tips for asthma, workout with a scarf or mask over your nose and mouth. Having the mask on while jogging in place for that amount of time makes it a whole lot easier to go for that long without heaving after like 5 minutes. also use your inhaler before the workout, and make sure to stretch before too, cuz I keep forgetting to stretch, so do it.
Jax!!! I had an idea!!! TLTT or would that work out TARZAN(disney version) Would cardeo, wrestling, climbing, and other types of exercise he did along with a mostly fruit and vegetable(he and the apes didnt seem to eat meat) diet get you ALPHA gainz like he had? Mans was SHREDDED after going back and looking at the movie(son of man and a bunch of other songs in the movie were FIRE asf and a major part of my childhood).
@Jaxblade Duuuude rollerblading is THE most underrated action sport /exercise! Been doing it for 20+ years and it's kept me relatively healthy. Any chance of you doing a breakdown of what muscles blading works out and maybe a good warm up for it?
I thought I was losing motivation, but I just burnt out by lifting 3 days in a row. I gotta take it a little easier and improve my work capacity through other methods. Be aware of your shortcomings and work on them.

Thanks man this video helped me out so much. Keep doing what you're doing man.👍👍👍👍👍
Watching your videos just makes me want to work out, but I’ll watch anime to keep me a little motivated while working out
You really deserve more subscribers man you are such a good dude
Being sick or feeling under the weather is often the point at which I start losing consistenty making it harder to pick it up again
It's been my life-long dream to become Luffy the second.
Thank u jax
I picked up Dragon Ball Z Kakarot yesterday and played it all day. It is pretty fun
I love this
Thanks Jax! This one helps alot!

Mans was SHREDDED after going back and looking at the movie(son of man and a bunch of other songs in the movie were FIRE asf and a major part of my childhood).
Love that earring!!
@Jaxblade Duuuude rollerblading is THE most underrated action sport /exercise! Been doing it for 20+ years and it's kept me relatively healthy.
Any chance of you doing a breakdown of what muscles blading works out and maybe a good warm up for it?
Don't you like how Jax always starts the videos with a pun or joke?
I really need this
super helpful thank you! I try to stretch daily to improve at kung fu and got motivated to stretch while watching this :D
I thought I was losing motivation, but I just burnt out by lifting 3 days in a row. I gotta take it a little easier and improve my work capacity through other methods. Be aware of your shortcomings and work on them.
