Loving this "Think Outside the Box" concept This episode provides a complete toolkit one needs prior to making a presentation Thank you so much Jeff for sharing these magnificent tools. Your effort is commendable Looking forward to the next episodes in this series
Hi Wasib, thanks so much for your kind comment!! Gives me confidence that this series will provide value to people such as yourself 😁. I have 3 more episodes lined up already!
Instead of switching out each individual color for the shapes and highlights throughout the slide template, it is much quicker to swap them all at once by going to the slide menu at the top > edit theme > colors, and then swapping out the colors in the drop down with the custom color you have selected. This will only work for slide templates that have used theme colors, but it can be very useful if they have.
Hi Jeff, I just started working on a Digital Marketing Agency one month ago and your videos were and are an invaluable help to me. I just wanted to thank you, the fact that you upload such quality content and offer free tools is absolutely amazing. 10000000000000 Thanks and Thumbs up!
While watching this video, my dad took a peek, watched some videos then he just advised me the best thing... "Just be like this guy, follow his advice and stay organised like him". If you were in front of my dad today, he would have given you a tight hug. He just loves disciplined and organised persons.
Actualy happy to see this. Back in my old school we did presentations basically every week. Now in my new school, we do it once a quarter. I have a huge advantage as I was aware of slidescarnival and unspash quite early. This video helped me find new sites and how I am able to live up to my perfectionist philosophy
to think that I'm actually doing some presentation for our class and also, every time you promote/discuss each site, I literally save them in mag bookmarks. thank you so much for telling to us!!!
As a fresher “Think outside the box” is what I am in need right now or might need in the near future. Love this concept. 😄 I Hope for more videos of the same kind Jeff Su
I have neem using all of these tools myslef for quite a while now, but i am surpirsed to see a video on it. Amazing video man really appreciated your approach on thinking outside the box.
Very useful! I am a business owner for private practice and I do give some presentation and write blogs so I love these tips for my business! Yes definitely more "think outside the box" context would be great!
Every time I have to do a presentation I use: Slidesgo (I LOVE IT), Flaticon (Can't live without it), and DaFont. I prefer icons to images since they seem more clean and aesthetic. I actually love to make presentations, so I always volunteer to make them (and I also don't trust anyone else).
Thanks for sharing all those tips and ressources, Jeff. I’m always on the hunt for new ways to improve my presentations so this video was really useful! Looking forward to the next videos - already a great series :)
Amazing video!! The first video I’ve watched from your channel (I just found it when UA-cam recommended this video) I already subscribed!! I can’t wait to see what other amazing content you have!!
@@JeffSu Sorry for communicating badly! I meant the transitions between the chapters you created like 0:53 "Use Existing Templates" 2:11 "Unique Color Theme" - They are super smooth. Did you buy them or created them yourself? 😉
Considering how I have a presentation next Tuesday, this is very timely :3 Thanks, Jeff! And I’d love to hear more work hacks! 😆 Question for you though, what do you think is a good balance between text and graphs? I’ve witness plenty of presentations where people just read off their slides but I’m not sure my almost all-graphs powerpoints are exactly ideal either 😅 any thoughts?
Best of luck in your presentation Andrea! You're going to kill it 😁 I always lean towards less text (just memorize what you're going to say) because I'm a firm believer of show > tell. You just need to make sure you have just enough text to give context (meaningful title, accurately labled axies etc.)
Haha thanks for believing in me! xD Hmm, good point 🤔 I’ll have to go over it again to make sure there’s enough context for the viewers. I guess having too many graphs on one slide can be kinda overwhelming for them too 😅 Thanks Jeff!
Very useful video! As feedback, for future videos I’d like to see your (presumed final) slide where you’ve actually given attribution. This is both as examples for us to use as well as well as leading by example by putting the attribution on-screen in your valuable video real estate. For anyone who has ever created Creative Commons licence content, it is super important that discussing attribution isn’t just words. Thanks a ton for the resource suggestions!
Thanks for the feedback McKay! Just to confirm, do you mean showing you all how the final product looks like, in particular the last slide with all the attribution and links?
@@JeffSu Yes, I was hoping to see that last slide with all the attribution, basically showing us that the attribution talked about does get done, and as a template for how to do it in a nice way. Thanks a lot! Great videos!
I just found this channel, and your content is great! I’ve hit a roadblock at work so am looking to start refreshing what I do. The way you present also makes me so excited to do another PowerPoint presentation (unheard of?)
Hello Jeff. Thank you very much for this video. With no doubt, one of the most useful you ever made. Many ideas to take... Nonetheless, during the pandemic crisis, I noticed that videoconference-based presentations have to remain very simple due to low bandwidth. Since then, I have simplified my slides a lot ! Cheers. François
Hi François, thank you so much for that feedback, I'm extremely glad you found this one useful! Haha yes, too fancy (or too many pictures) will definitely at times cause issues, so it's a balance for sure. 😁
I really need to thank you personally as I got to attend interview in coming weeks. I believe that this is really gonna help me in preparing my presentation slides.
