The tinfoil car bodies is a genius idea! Might do that to a couple larger r/c's for crashes
Looks great!! A box of beer and good friends be a good night!
A combination of the battery crapping out, stuck in a corner, flipped over and, yes, the foil wadding up in the gears or tires.
This is Super Awesome!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for posting :-) You guys are Great looks like ya'll havin' FUN!
@hubarlow the foil is colored with markers and testors airbrush paint. The shells are just foil pressed onto the car bodies. Take off the foil and cut out the wheel wheels. Poke a hole for the antenna and that's pretty much it.
So long ago and I’m just seeing this it’s so cool.
This is freaking awesome
Now I want a Zipzap lol
That is sooooo cool and looks like a lot of fin
COOL...the only thing missing was the crack in the wall by the starter/scoring stand
Kool. Thanks.
You make it look easy.
Good job!
F-N-A nice piece
Get a single puncher hole punch for the wheels. I started out doing 1;24 scale over 20 years ago with wire controls. nice work.
This would be so fun!
i miss that speedway
Looks like you had a lot of fun :) Nice video
Looks like a good drinking game
Dam,this shit is bringing out the geek in me.good stuff
Same here.
I don't recall for sure, but I know we didn't have any special equipment. All 6 were on different channels. So maybe ZipZaps actually sold upwards of 6 frequencies?
Epic! im going to do this now!
@ChoolGuys I'm honestly not sure if ZipZap cars are even manufactured any longer. They were available in any toy store for around $10 each.
Man that was AWESOME!!!! Where can I get battery's at for mine? The ones in the cars are like 10 years old. Thanks!
Very cool!!!! Good job on the original flag stand BTW!
Just press/fold/mold foil over the car. They let them sit for several days and keep fine tuning it to get creases out. Then cut the wheel areas out with scissors and race!
nice would like to see more of these vids :)
very cool 5/5
No idea, sorry. The video is over 2 years old. The cars haven't been used nearly at all since that night.
So awesome!!! Good thing I work at toys r us cause I've seen off brand mini RCs there.
@FlyingRyan46 I'll try to convince the guys to race again this winter. This video is from almost 2 years ago. If we do it, you'll see it!
@cro101graff We didn't get a chance to record any races during the last off season. Maybe this coming Fall we'll have some more races. Right now, the teams are busy building and racing the real cars. Thanks!
EPIC
*car clicks into wall*

@dajara521 These zip zaps were on 6 different frequencies and came stock that way. Very limited interference with all cars running.
HOW DO YOU SHAPE THE BODIES?!
Can you please put more viseos about this ...this is so freacknig fucking COOL!!!
Awwwwesomenesss
ever try the bigger remote control cars? Be pretty sick to see that.
Don't think they're sold new any longer. Best bet is to check eBay.

Sorry, not sure how the guys did it. I just recorded it lol. I seem to remember some Testors jars around and airbrush guns.
aluminum foil, airbrush paint, and sharpies.
How do the cars actually stop working does the body just tuck under wheels or what

How can u control 6??? I can only control 2
how can i get these???
I wish mine still worked, they don't hold a charge anymore unfortunately :(
how you have paint the body of cars
They were bought new several years ago. Don't believe they're produced anymore. Check eBay.
How were you able to run 6 at once, I thought that only 2 could run at a time.
Different frequencies.
What if you made bigger models? It would be nice to see bigger models race. more layers of aluminum foil would be needed though.
@acbroo02 ZipZaps might till be sold at Radio Shack stores otherwise try eBay.
i come here thinking this was real cars
i would do it
where did you buy those small rc cars
Those are Zip Zaps, originally sold at Radio Shack. The line has since been discontinued, but they show up on ebay periodically.
rofl every time i buy a little rc car like that it either doesnt work out of the box or it takes 2-3 charges and the battery wont hold a charge
can u guy make another vid like this
Make one yourself.... lol
@@friendlyfiregaming4601 Where do I get the parTs

@derbyboy18 Just tin foil pressed over the body of standard 1/64th scale Hotwheels and Matchbox cars. Peel off the foil, cut out the wheel-wells and go racing!

Radio Shack discontinued the Zip Zap line around 2008-09. They were replaced by the slightly larger Xmods which have also been discontinued, IIRC. God, I miss Radio Shack.
