    To everyone getting ready for the test - best of luck! Please don't let the length of my responses scare you - these are meant to be best case scenario. I have worked with many students who have taken the CASPer test. Some have actually been able to write as much as I did here within the 5 minute time line - many have not. The length of your response does not determine your quartile score. These answers are meant to show off buzzwords, key phrases and general answer tips while trying to go over every possible point that I think would go into a perfect answer. You will need to experiment and practice so that your answers touch on the casper core competencies and do not violate any key principles. The more you practice, the less you will need to think about your responses and the more you will be able to consistently hit many of these key points.

    Fanatic video! And your answers to those questions were great. I’m sorry, but ain’t no way all that can be written in 5 minutes. Thanks for showing us the perfect answer, though.

      Hi Al :) thanks for that. Some students that I’ve worked with really are able to come up with similar answers for these questions within the time allowed, but that’s definitely not true for everyone. Quality over quantity to a certain extent but focus on answering at least 2 of 3 and some of the 3rd if you can. Glad you were able to find some use with these solutions and good luck!

    God Bless you man, I’m literally studying for the CASPER exam right now and I’ve watched all your previous videos about CASPER as I prepare to take it for my Nursing school.
    I’m praying so hard that I get into this Nursing school so wish me luck!

    Thank you for this content! Realistically given the time restraints (5 minutes) it would be difficult to write all of this down however

    I’ve noticed that all of your answers are pretty long but also well-constructed(that’s a good thing of course). But may I ask should I answer with paragraphs on test day as well? I mean is it better that way? Or if I can just say less and concise enough?

    You wrote this in 5 minutes? I don't feel like I have the time to articulate as much as you did

    • @nxtgenmd
      @nxtgenmd  Рік тому +3

      Hey Drew don't worry too much about the length of your answers. When I put this video together, I tried my best to come up with "perfect" answers in an effort to try and get people to see how answers should be tackled in regards to addressing casper's core competencies. These definitely were not put together by me in 5 minutes - however when I wrote casper years ago, my responses were comparable to what I've shown here in terms of content and sometimes in length. The more you practice, the easier this will become. Best of luck

    I appreciate this video so much. My only question is were you able to create those responses in 5 minutes? I have been practicing for my exam next month and my issue so far is being able to respond to every question within the time limit.

    • @nxtgenmd
      @nxtgenmd  Рік тому +2

      Hi Njemile :) when I prepared this video, I had the luxury of formulating what I thought to be the “perfect” answer to the questions. I didn’t time myself but tried to tackle every angle in a reasonable amount of time. A few things to note, many students are able to write the amount of content that I showed within the 5 minute limit, but that doesn’t mean that you need to. You should focus on quality when possible over quantity but try to cover at least the first 2 questions and some of the 3rd if you can. The more you practice the more you should see that these questions usually follow similar patterns

    Booster is no longer free 😢. I did use the platform for preparing for the INBDE and liked it a lot. I’m wondering how exactly does AI rate ethical scenarios though…

      Yeah, it's now $249 for a 45-day Premium Membership... It's a great resource if you happen to stumble across it 2 months out from your test date, but most of us aren't preparing that long to make it worth the cost.

    Thanks for your amazing videos.
    I have a slow typing speed and I think it could just be a deal breaker for the Casper test.

    • @nxtgenmd
      @nxtgenmd  Рік тому +2

      Glad they’ve helped :) you can definitely improve typing speed. You don’t need to be a professional typist but practicing with a typing tool like the one on casperbooster may be able to help 🤙
      Good luck!

    Can you please suggest some good books to prepare for interviews?

    • @nxtgenmd
      @nxtgenmd  Рік тому +1

      Doing Right by Philip Herbert is the classic informal guide to medical ethics specifically for interviews. However, I think my favorite resources are from UA-cam videos. I have a few on my channel, but feel free to look around and find your favorites. Good luck!
