You guys are missing the point here, some people go on hajj to die. They want the holy pilgrimage to be their last journey. They want to die fulfilling their obligation to The Most High, And they want to be buried in the holy city of Mecca. To most people’s fragile hearts and minds, this is a tragedy, to them this is a blessing and mercy.
Isn't that suicide though?
I don't think anyone is going there to die, that's not true at all everyone who go there want to go back to their family, they just comfort people who have a love one die there by telling them that they went straight to haven and it's good to die there but no one wish to die there.

No, you’re not killing your self, a lot of elderly people simply go there in bad health, knowing that they may not make it back, but they are ok with it. They have come to the realization that death is a part of life and they weren’t meant to be here forever. What better place to go than the land where the holy prophets walked.

I didn’t even want to comment and give Fox any attention. But millions of people go and survive every year, it’s not a “death march” a walk to school in America is a death march. If anyone is unhealthy or it becomes too hard on them, they are exempt. The ignorance and Islamophobia is so blatant.

Non Muslims please hear me out, we Muslims see this as a blessing. Passing in Mecca preforming the pilgrimage is the ultimate blessing for us. I pray that I go that way and buried in Mecca. It’s like a catholic passing in the Vatican. It’s an honor so the Muslim world 🌎 including the people that passed away aren’t afraid or upset! They’re actually lucky!
I am a catholic and I don't wish to die in the Vatican nor anywhere far from my home. Going to the mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. There are no pillars in Christianity. It is true that there are the 7 main sins and there are the ten commandments which are the ways of life. But the Vatican is not a place of pilgrimage. It is the residence of the Pope. Catholics go on pilgrimage in Israel, in France, in Italy and in Portugal, countries that have given us Catholics, some saints.
Then is as simple as, when you go next time please go with a knife so you can easily kill your self, madness.

But if better provisions has been made there wouldn’t have been so much death, this became a pilgrimage of death for many people who didn’t went there to die, the organizers should have known better, and phase out this thing, the amount of people was overwhelming,

Death March? How disrespectful. There are special , air conditioned facilities for the elderly and disabled as well as wheel chairs. Tourists who take this journey on a regular tourist visa and not a regular hajj visa are taking a huge risk.
Well if you can't pay the special fee that protect you then it becomes a death march
@@ileanaacacostaacosta1813 if you do that you go at your own risk as many thousands do each year. The hajj is not a death march. Walking down a major highway in rush hour traffic is a death march.
Peace. When you go to Haji or Umrah which is a minor pilgrimage.You are to have a copy of your Will, with you . Most Muslim know that you could die. And these things happens, it's nothing new.
Yes, we strongly believe it can happen and before pilgrimage we are ready for anything.
But you have the big hajj in November it's cooler and safer

Did Saudi Arabia not give out any Summer desert travel advisories??? I’m not Muslim or from the Middle East, but I am totally aware that being outside for days in that area would not be advised and would be a risky idea.
The people are used to that weather considering it’s literally a desert, and you don’t need an advisory to know that it’s hot. You just need to step outside

Is this even once a year onky??? ...Is it a first co.e first serve??? ....And if other people are aware that their fellow brothers and sisters are in need if shelter they just pass them by????
not everyone is required to make this pilgrimage, only people who are healthy, have no illnesses, have money and means to get there easily, have no responsibility of looking after ones old parents are supposed to go for pilgrimage. The religion is not at fault, its the management and government that is.
@@yousufalam65 Im just trying to understand....By not eveyone is required to go do you mean not everyone gets to enjoy the blessings of making the trip to the holy site.....If you are an elderly person you cant go because of your age and the toll it will take on your body?....Also if you dont have money to go then you dont get to experience the joy all the other people who had money did..
@@peekaxu4352 I meant abstained, these people are exempted from performing meaning it is ENTIRELY their choice whether to make the trip or not. they are not obligated to perform pilgrimage.
This pilgrimage is compulsory for all muslims given that you can perform it with ease, there will be no sin on them for not performing it, and there are other acts of worhsip that can do to make up for the blessings theyre missing out on.
And as far as money is concerned, meaning getting a plane ticket, getting a hotel to stay, (food water is free) youll need money. this does not mean if youre poor youre not allowed to enter, every muslim rich poor healthy sick old young every race can enter the Holy place.
@@peekaxu4352 there are poor and rich everywhere, not everyone gets to experience all the luxuries of life, there are people who go on vacations mutliple times a year and there are people who havent ever left their hometown.
