Suede, 'She Still Leads Me On' @ Winter Gardens, Eastbourne 9.12.23

So begins the final Suede Autofiction tour, one week that wasn't originally supposed to happen anyway so I'm grateful for this end of year blast of joy in the cold, dreich days of December.
The first show of the tour was by the sea in Eastbourne, a small faded seaside town that I'd not been to before. The venue is part of a collection of cultural spaces near the sea and Suede played a relatively small hall.
I was so elated to hear a full Suede set with lots of Autofiction, something I'd not heard since March as naturally all UK and European shows since the summer have been shorter, hits-laden festival sets. I am going to try to record only Autofiction songs on this tour but it's so difficult! I'm usually singing, dancing, pointing during them but we may not get all of them again at future shows. This is my goal!
