Thanks for your work Leo! Always interesting and informative. I only have an HX Stomp but always watch your videos to get a sense of how are things evolving around guitar gear, plus it’s great content and killer playing 🤘🏽
It’d be really nice to see how NAM player (dimehead) would fare against the other big players ie tonex, cortex and kemper (or even just tonex) mainly in terms of tone and feel when compared to the actual amp (as reference)
I think that’s a great idea, particularly the part about getting them working with external controllers (particularly for the units that only have MIDI-over-USB capability)
Kemper Player lvl 3 should be mentioned as it turns the pedal an All-in-one solution while most competitors would require extra pedals and are cheaper. I'm mostly interested in usability. I think all tones are great even if they're slightly different.
Leo already show that comparison with null test in last year, nam was closer to source. Now interesting to add new competitors to that list: Ampero with it's beta tone capture, amperium with it's tonex-like neural captures, m-vave tank g and blackbox with their ANN profiles
That comparison would be great! Specially to see which configuration will be the most flexible, reliable, best sounding and cheapest
Yes, I do agree....
