Love my Boulet Hot Weather combat boots. Fit right out of the box, well made and does what I need them to do. Comfortable for going rucking,no matter the terrain.
I'm a civilian, and I have no idea how you showed up on my YT feed, since I tend to watch vids like Conan, Jim Gaffigan, and I Am Puma...but I am so glad I watched one of your vids because now I have binged-watched quite a few! Interesting topics, and I have enjoyed watching all the great competition between the men and women. Ari is my favorite guest so far-- I mean come on...she pulled a TRUCK!! I would like to see more vids about the Navy water/swimming tests (my apologies if I didnt use correct terminology).
I wish we had something like the bates USMC steel toe boot here in Brazil, would be an evolution of the jungle boot that we still use, the comfort would be similar 5 to 6 out of 10. But the problem is, we have a lot of chances of twisting our ankle.
I was looking for the Corcoran fan boys. I agree, Corcoran Marauder with Nylon and Leather uppers are great are derived from the 100% Leather Corcoran 1525 Combat Boots.
The Belleville’s are awesome. The Bates you had are a copy of the Belleville 800-880 pattern. As an Army guy, who joined in ‘01 the 800’s are a bit lighter than the issue combat boots back then. So the weight thing is, you get used to it
I just got the reckoning. I was issued a pair of RAT boots in boot camp (2016). They held up very well but by now they were well overdue for a replacement. I would say i got 3 solid years from my RAT boots. These reckonings feel like im just wearing socks compared to my RATs. Definitely will be better for PT, but i want to see how they are on a ruck hike.
Big thanks to Ridge wallets for supporting creators like me and helping me produce this video! Check them out if you'd like! www.ridgewallet.com/alexander
German Infantry guy here 🤙🏼 As a guy who is used to wear mountaineering style boots, i feel like US style boots (Danners, Bates, Belleville etc.) have little to no ankle stability/protection. With all the things i did, had i worn 'american style' boots, i would probably be in a wheelchair by now xD
The RAT boots were awful in boot camp. Contributed to a lot of injuries when the plastics would break out of the heel. I had to get mine exchanged twice.
I had the israeli version of the bates, I served for almost 3 years and had to change my boot after a year and half and the sole was 100% smooth and on my second pair same thing and the sole broke in half lol
Did she say go to the pediatrician? Hahahaha. Awesome informative video Ari and Austen! I'll stick with my Rocky boots! Easy to polish and lasts for a solid 2 years!
sorry but the flight deck boots is top tier. they are comfortable and they look so clean in uniform plus the shine on the tip of the boot adds to it. highly recommend them!
Man the Bellville boots I got from basic are the absolute worst boots I've ever worn I recently got a pair of their tactical research brown boots and they are so much more comfortable and durable
I had a Bates 922 and wore them a lot before the pandemic. Then the pandemic hit and it sat for about 4 months. When I went to look at it the soles look like they melted. Really unhappy.
From what I know of the Danner boots, they are TRASH for durability. I've got two pairs and the second was sent because the first pair broke. They SUCK. Wouldn't recommend. For the canadian military, we have our boot claim, and I recommend Lowa boots, or Lelo. They have both held up great for our troops.
I wish somebody would come up with replaceable outsoles cuz 9 times out of 10, the wear on the outsoles is the main reason I replace shoes while the uppers may be fine. Seems like a waste of quality materials to throw shoes away especially if they're made of leather, if all that's wrong with them are worn out soles.
Look up a cobbler in your area my friend. They are a bit more scarce these days but they are out there. Have them replace the soles on your boots. I love to support a true old school craftsman. These trades are dying out while we buy expensive disposable crap. There's nothing better then supporting skilled tradesmen/tradeswomen.
Military boots suffer from low quality, thus the lighter the boot, the higher quality material is needed. Nicks 24 ounce tactikewl boot is $550 for that reason. Thus you can only get Mid quality prices for mid quality boots
No, no one makes a bulletproof boot. Tru-Spec makes some assault boots which feature a Kevlar shank, that should resist fragments from penetrating the soles.
Hi I’m looking for a waterproof combat boot for airsoft, I wanna be able to walk thru a small stream or creek without getting my feet wet and good ankle support
Best boot ever, if you're looking for comfort. I put them through tough terrain and they hold up pretty good too. They are way better than the oakley boots. You can run in Mikey boots for days, very close to feeling like a tennis shoe. Runs true to size.
I usually buy Danner. My hunting boots - ripped out one of the webbing hooks that hold the string. I have Tachyons, too, but they're a bit too light for support for rucking. I'm leaning heavily toward Reckoning. I had to return the Danner Fullbore b/c it didn't fit well. What is your update review for abuse on those Danner Scorch?
I want to get a pair of Rothco Combat boots non steel toe. But Im worry about that California Prop 65 Warning. Should I be worried or is that a load of BS??
I don‘t believe that the RAT boots are by Danner, they‘re also made by Bates and especially WellCo made them ALLOT cheaper and are allot worse. I doubt Danner‘s ever broke on ya and especially the weight sounds very weird, plus the heat thing all sounds very odd. Pretty sure those arent from Danner.
Hello Mr Alexander. I want to tell you something I believe is really important. I know you don't know me. I want you to know that someone stole your information and pictures.
That girl she was screaming at in the beginning sounded like a bird and I can’t Unhear it.
fr fr it was like squealing
🤣😂
That is why they shouldn't be in the military it's cringeworthy.
Damn yeah, two chickens screaming.
I’d probably laugh loud af and end up cleaning toilets...then do it again😂
“CACAW! CACAW! CACAW!”
No way is that Sgt Ari from Marine boot camp?
Damn she really loves her job for sure
Yep, I saw her in a marine boot camp video
Ain't no slacker mate
Modlawls123 which video sirrr
She’s hot.
how can you say "no way" when you are seeing her on the video?
"I have been looking forward to this"
-Count Dooku
Most comfortable boots I wore were the tan Rocky S2V Tactical boots; cost = $237 when I was attached to Coastal Riverine 👍
Agreed! I wore them when I first got to Seal Beach but they weren’t in regulation with my command 😭
first lol gotcha
Nice
hahaha
hi how are ya, is boot camp scary. me and my friend want to join the navy, why i sound like im twelve... because i am, i need advice ;)
please reply and have a nice day.. or night
Will ariana post a video, cause we're waiting for her too?
Navy + Marines = Brothers 🤘🤘🤘 and those boots are dope as hell
DANNNNGGG! So she is also the sgt. from Michelle’s 3 day marine corp challenge !
Really?!?
Yeah
Love my Boulet Hot Weather combat boots. Fit right out of the box, well made and does what I need them to do. Comfortable for going rucking,no matter the terrain.
Bates Lites were my favorite boots. They were amazing at Assault Climber school, felt like I was climbing in tennis shoes instead of combat boots.
I use the Rocky sv2s, most comfortable boots I've used in the navy.
The best combat boots are
For hot weather: the Haix Airpower P9
For European climate the Haix scout
I have the Danner Tanicus and I love them a lot. I machine, weld, and do military things(garrison and field) in them, very durable and light
I'm a civilian, and I have no idea how you showed up on my YT feed, since I tend to watch vids like Conan, Jim Gaffigan, and I Am Puma...but I am so glad I watched one of your vids because now I have binged-watched quite a few! for my boots I wear in the Air Force I wear the Corcoran Marauder steel toe boots, hella light (for steel toes) flexible and comfortable
I was looking for the Corcoran fan boys. I agree, Corcoran Marauder with Nylon and Leather uppers are great are derived from the 100% Leather Corcoran 1525 Combat Boots.

I love my RAT boots. Best boot I’ve ever worn. I’m on my 4th pair. Can’t beat them.
So no one‘s gonna talk about how he said that wallets have flavors 😂
Yes Austin is back
i'm back and have three videos on deck ready to go!
good luck...
Best boots are rocky's S2V and they're in navy regs.
Big thanks to Ridge wallets for supporting creators like me and helping me produce this video! Check them out if you'd like! www.ridgewallet.com/alexander
I hated the issued Bates, mine got destroyed during the Crucible just from swimming in muddy water. I bought the Reckonings and they seem good so far
Old school Army here. Corcoran jump boots were the best.
I use the Rocky's S2V, by far the most durable and comfortable boots by far. You can get 1000 miles off them even with rucking, and it still serves.
Yay Austin is finally back❤ you have been missed 💙
German Infantry guy here 🤙🏼
As a guy who is used to wear mountaineering style boots, i feel like US style boots (Danners, Bates, Belleville etc.) have little to no ankle stability/protection.
With all the things i did, had i worn 'american style' boots, i would probably be in a wheelchair by now xD
What brands are the mountaineering boots you used?
@@alizarkami6187 European brands like Meindl, Haix and Hanwag.
Salomon and Merrell MOAB are also known here.
The Sabres are my absolute favorite boot to wear when I'm not on board the ship. So comfortable. They are like sneakers man
The RAT boots were awful in boot camp. Contributed to a lot of injuries when the plastics would break out of the heel. I had to get mine exchanged twice.
Alt-Berg does some great boots!
If you’ve had boots that lasted 8 years, you haven’t been doing anything.
She said those were the worse boots she has so she doesn’t wear them that’s prolly why they lasted so long
I had the israeli version of the bates, I served for almost 3 years and had to change my boot after a year and half and the sole was 100% smooth and on my second pair same thing and the sole broke in half lol
I was thinking when are you going to post a video!!!!. You're back.
She's one of my favourite collabers - great chick
Those bates will have you going through it on the flight deck man !!
Did she say go to the pediatrician? Hahahaha. Awesome informative video Ari and Austen! I'll stick with my Rocky boots! Easy to polish and lasts for a solid 2 years!
I guess she meant podiatrist.
@@lr4189 I think she did too. But I love my military peeps. ❤️❤️
It was an honest mistake. It’s all ❤️!
Altberg, Akus, Iturris. Meindl, Haix, Karrimor SF, best boots.
Steel toe just helps from lumps on concrete landing on your toe when a explosion goes off
If there are flying fragments of concrete, then protecting your toes will be the least of your worries.
I'm chilling in my lowas tbh, my entire unit wears either Lowas, Salomons, or rockys, best boots for our job
I like heavy boots a lot more than light weight boots.... So I pick the Navy flight deck boots and the USMC bates cold weather boots!
You know you’ve made it when your wallet comes with a screwdriver
sorry but the flight deck boots is top tier. they are comfortable and they look so clean in uniform plus the shine on the tip of the boot adds to it. highly recommend them!
kenetrek, not cheap, great boot. very deep tread. heavy at 4lbs. I am 260lbs. The 4lbs is not bad. They give the support for all my weight.
Man the Bellville boots I got from basic are the absolute worst boots I've ever worn I recently got a pair of their tactical research brown boots and they are so much more comfortable and durable
thanks for all the helpful advice :)
I had a Bates 922 and wore them a lot before the pandemic. Then the pandemic hit and it sat for about 4 months. When I went to look at it the soles look like they melted. Really unhappy.
eyyy! two of my favorite ❤❤❤ i love all your vlogs 💪💪💪
Thoughts on Altamas or Rocky boots?
Those are the boots Minotaur and some other operators wear in modern Warfare the last pair from Austen I mean
Wow, I go through a pair of boots like in under a year or 2.
I know it's probably been said before. HOWEVER, you legitimately look like Chris Evans and you fit the role of Captain America.
Cool topic you've chosen
I being a vet expect my boots to do for me, so double stitch, full arch guard, breathable, comfort interior and soles must be of strong material.
Any brands you'd recommend?
From what I know of the Danner boots, they are TRASH for durability. I've got two pairs and the second was sent because the first pair broke. They SUCK. Wouldn't recommend. For the canadian military, we have our boot claim, and I recommend Lowa boots, or Lelo. They have both held up great for our troops.
hmm okay I've never heard of them but I will look into them
Lowas are really good. Mine have lasted the test of time.
Interesting topic! Boy are those boots expensive! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your service
My favorite military dude
haha thank you
Danner USMC Rat the non steel toe but still hard. That's composite toe, pretty much just shittier steel toe.
Yesssss, I've been waiting for this👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
More to come!
Leave it up to a marine DI to say I want these boots to be light like these but put steel tone in them 🤣 #represent
Excellent video and boot reviews i have lowa desert elite pretty good boots ..
Every time the young hen, Says this ones take a drink 😋
Thank Goodness UA-cam isn't SmellTube yet hahaha. Cheers! Fun to watch!
Happy to see you Austin
Love ur voice ☺️😁

@@07zx14White Thanks for the tip.
Is that a raider project shirt I see?
Sure is!

Please check ALTAMA , black jungle boots with Panama outsole
So you actually purchase your own boots? That’s good. You can try out and break them in. Are there any bullet proof boots?
No, no one makes a bulletproof boot. Tru-Spec makes some assault boots which feature a Kevlar shank, that should resist fragments from penetrating the soles.
SpecJack15 someone needs to develop a modern sabaton
Is there a difference between male vs female [combat] boots
Ari’s beauty with the beast
And she has flat feet
How about Marine Expeditionary boots?
Are the size different as normal sizes
Try the Oakley si light patrol boots
I don’t think the Danner are authorized NWU 3 If they are I can’t seem to find the instruction
Great video. So the Navy lets you wear either black or brown boots?
Can we talk about that girl squealing at the beginning
Howey this is proper mint like
Let me end this here: Rocky S2V for military and first responders! Best boots ever!
austen what do you mean flavours can you taste the wallet!!!
😂 FLAVORZ fam...colors. Same same
Which would you recommend for law enforcement?
Wouldn’t steel toes on cold weather boots defeat the purpose
I use composite toecap boots !
Jonathan Pipe yeah, that’s what I thought all people used. I guess they aren’t outside that much though
Austin which boots are your favorite?
Wow i love this Boots from army 🥰🏋️ thanks for this informations 💃🏋️🙏
Hi I’m looking for a waterproof combat boot for airsoft, I wanna be able to walk thru a small stream or creek without getting my feet wet and good ankle support

4:21 LOL "flavors"
I need a small loop r ring clip on boot(s) to hang enemy's ears,,, vs, a necklace.
I like my danner composite toe boots those are comfy af and only $179
Lowa Zephyr mids BOOM end of story 🤙
Zephyrs are master race.
post more vids, they are gooooddd

i got the sabre boots a year ago and the soles broke in half
Absolute state
Do you have to buy and pay for your own footwear in the military? Kind regards.
