The Italpreziosi silver bars are wonderful! I just got my twelfth one in today. I have several 5 oz, about four of the 10 oz and one of the Kilo bars all Italpreziosi bars of course. They are based out of Arezzo, Italy and have been in business since 1984. If you notice, all their 5 oz bars start with the 2 letters GL, the 10 oz GE, and the Kilo bars GA. Don't know what those letters mean but I came up with my own thing. GL I call "Go Lightly" because they are 5 oz, GE I call " General Entry" because they are 10 oz which is a common "general" size, GA I call "Grande Argentum" with Grande being the Spanish word for very large and Argentum as the Latin word for silver. Plus, your right: they usually are the least expensive over spot most of the time compared to other silver bars of the same weight.
Nice 10 ozer! Got the 5 ozers. BE pricing on ebay was lower than what was on their own website. Great pick-up, good sir! Real tangible wealth with inherent, intrinsic value, indeed.

The 10oz bars certainly are easier to store than all the 1oz coins in capsules I have. I have tried to convert a little of my 1oz stack to larger bars over the past couple years for that very reason.
One more thing: I don't like satin or dull silver. If you grab some Cape Cod silver polishing wipes, within minutes it will transform them into a very high gloss which I think brings out their real glory!
I have 4 of these bars now, and I noticed that the serial numbers are a different size, two of them have large letters and numbers, the other two smaller. They look identical besides this, but it seems odd to me. Have you noticed this at all with yours? I bought mine from both Monument Metals, and Bullion Exchanges.
Yeah, the markets - I have one mutual fund that I placed an initial investment in the 1990s. Over time I bought 3 cars, one small house with the proceeds of that investment and today it has the a larger dollar value than it did when I first invested. So my market investments have done well. But as you say - How far can this bull market go? If a person has money to invest it seems the most unsure time ever just where to put it.
Alright I have a stupid question. So I have the same bar, and it's shorter in length, thinner, and not as wide as any of my other 10 oz bars. How can that be? I mean whether they're pressed or cast, if it's 999 silver, how could the dimensions differ like that?
Today I got 5 bars 10oz each of these from MMX. They were the cheapest bars. I am a silver stacker that is stacking just for the pure value of silver. NO collector thinking as it does not make sense to me for what is coming. Why pay more for .999 silver when it is just going to melted down for needed uses. Just my perspective.

Volume must be the same. Perhaps try a water displacement test?

DONT BUY ON EBAY, they charge illegally sales tax on all items, even precious metals and food which are exempt allot of places
