no, that was a fallen stump with an ant hill on top. I filmed the hunt, we found the deer in the water the following day I can assure you.

The deer didn’t go in the water you can see it from the left side when willie goes to look for it
That wasn’t a deer, if you watch the whole video you will see that it was in the water, unless they are blind, and the deer came back to life and ran into the water, thats no deer.

What kind of trail cameras does buck commander use? Anyone know
Was there any meat damage with Willie's buck being in the pond and heat? Never hunted warmer temps and had a tough recovery with it.
With him laying dead all night, I'd say the meat was bad. I live and hunt in the south, and there's no way I would eat it, The mosquitos being so thick tells me it was way too hot out for the meat to be any good.
With the running water, he wasn't too hot surprisingly.
I kind of wondered too but it would probably be fine everywhere but directly around the wound where scuzzy water could soak in. Animals in the water can get water logged and nasty but being left overnight does not always hurt your meat and being in the water it actually would have kept the flies off and maybe kept it a little cooler. I hope it was still edible. There's a lot of good meat on a buck that size. Your nose will usually tell you if anything's wrong though. If it starts spoiling its gonna start stinkin too
Unless it was around 40 degrees or colder, I wouldn’t eat a deer that sat all overnight, especially in some stagnant looking creek.

That's why you don't make those stupid sounds to try an get the deer to stop....if you miss they usually don't even know what happened and don't run away....if you make some weird sound and shoot and miss they are gone
Two prime examples of why not to shoot your bow at a deer with its head down. Missed the first deer and spine shot the second.

Unless it was cold, I wouldn’t eat a deer that sat overnight.

Leave it to all of you rich guys you shot deer over feed you pour everyday...its sad you all think your good hunters when none of you are I hunt archery in Washington state in the real woods for elk and deer I only have 1 leg and I still hunt like a real man no feed no cameras just me my bad ass bow and the real woods you all should try it one day leave all the bullshit at one of your houses
