muso here....you are right fairvalehigh. Its a mistake. I think my band used to stuff up at the same pouint when we were learning it too. It sounds a simple song but the structure is a killer and it is actualy quite a hard tune to play due to this...
That's not necessarily a mistake though, lots of bands miss stuff out or change stuff when they're doing cover versions, and it sounded pretty planned...
