RENATA TEBALDI "DONDE LIETA USCI", LA BOHEME (Giacomo Puccini) BEST HD QUALITY

This is a tribute to the legendary Italian soprano Renata Tebaldi. Some say that Tebaldi possessed the most beautiful voice of all time. I think it is funny how the media made up such a fuss about the 'war' between Renata Tebaldi and Maria Callas. At any rate, "Tebaldi had inaugurated the 1968 Met season with Cilea's Adriana Lecouvreur, Callas, who by that time had given her last opera performance, went backstage to congratulate Tebaldi". This version of Giacomo Puccini's "Donde Lieta Usci" from "La Boheme" is the finest studio recording of this aria that I have ever heard. Simply gorgeous!
