This is a series watch it all
one thing good about this show was the character build-ups… every characters.. but it just went downhill towards the end….
Oh wow.. this was a great show when it came out, especially in the early seasons.. some great characters that I invested in : Vanessa, Axel, Mohamed, Sam, Flesh, Julius, Scarlett..
I agree. I loved it. I don't have cable anymore so I don't even know if it's still on or if how far the show has gotten. The last I saw Vanessa had killed her sister.

The series went on for 2 more seasons after Scarletts' death.. actually, it was supposed to come off that Scarlett killed herself by pulling the sword into herself so that Vanessa didn't have to execute her, because if Vanessa had, she would have in theory completely succumbed to the darkness that was trying to take over her by killing the one or someone she loved.. with Scarlett killing herself, Vanessa could then still stay strong and pure enough to fight off going dark.. which she then could continue to fight to end vampires.. the whole death of Scarlett was supposed to be a tragic sacrifice by Scarlett.. I get it, but it still flipped me off with Scarlett dying.. her death, I think, had to do with more the actress that played Scarlett, Missy Peregym, was also on the tv series FBI (which she is still on today) at the same time that may have conflicted with her doing Van Helsing..
since you've been unable to see the other seasons, I will tell you the show did continue to take even more of a supernatural turn or tone, as you may have seen it was starting to do.. there will be a lot of character arcs and closures for both the good and the bad.. some will make you smile, and some will make you wanna cry, but that's good storytelling
