Why are You using the totally misleading and absolutely wrong title 'ROBO GIRL' ? The real title of this movie is 'A.I. Rising'.
They are supposed to be traveling to Alpha Centauri, but every time they show the outside of the ship, they are orbiting some planet and not actually going anywhere.
The movie feels incomplete.
Just watching the first 15 minutes of the movie, you don’t want to know what I think of it.

Not the ending I was expecting. Now they run into another space craft, and they have the ability to save the pilot. Be advised, we not have seen many space adventures - so, make the ship appear as it was a space craft, not just some low budget empty set.

Captain was like, I am content alone… Corp was like , naw we require a mind fuck of a robot disguised as a woman to be partnered with you. Dude gets mind fucked and dies. The end. Yw.
Good movie, worth watching, however, I do believe that his final problem could have been mitigated by re-entering the craft for five minutes, rather than waiting outside. He clearly had the time.

This is an engaging film, it’s a subject that’s its time has come. Yet that a robot could be sentient and self aware I can’t believe, it’s just not a possibility. She is only a mindless, programable machine lacking consciousness. This is true because consciousness is the eternal basis of reality but all created things are illusory and transitory.

I stopped watching when I saw romantic
Just after starting the droid, he mentions the lack of the need to deserve intimacy. And then he tried to force the droid to have intercourse.
The droid acts as though it has emotions.
Lastly, hq didn't have to ask the droid for an assessment of the guy. They could have just scanned the droid's databank.

I had the exact same thought. There's one thing for sure... she turned into most women and he turned into most men. Nothing new in this story line.
@@ToolmakerOneNewsletter what it would take (in a actual study) to parce out the distinction (the distinction between these simulated companions and a actual women and man) would lead to a thesis.
Where one would have to understand 'both' to begin with.
Right off the bat I would note:
The femBOT seemed (even as 'a person') unlike 'a woman' in this way: she was 'too self aware' and reasoned and recognized the conclusion that she 'herself' was 'the source' of his depression.
Although,
the way she decided to self annihilate instead of working on herself, may be a legitimate comparison (between this femBOT and a actual woman).
We are not all this way, but what we are is - several generations out (and away) from being 'well trained' in exactly how to manage our 'power'. And too how to be conscious of the 'gifts & limitations' of 'The Other' gender.
(For example: dump trucks do not handle like Ferraris, (for example).
So expectation that they can be driven like one or the other leads the creature behind the wheel to the ruin of DOOM)
The movie was a hot mess.
Thanks for seeing the 'better judgment' of his third choice with me, though. It was nice to find some 'company' in that.
