      It's just something about that MUSTANG sticker running at the bottom of the door, that I hate - thankfully mine did not come with that sticker - and there is not too much difference between a 2010 v6 and 2013 v6 - the ordinary person can not tell the difference - if you get those solid louvers that go on that side window (it totally changes the car - if the louvers are the same color as the car) - they make it look as if there is not a window there - those solid louvers make a 2010 look better than this 2013

    The color scheme is great yet hard to find. Im an old school mustang guy. For those of you on the fence these 6 cylinder stangs are fine. My other cars is a 2010 Ford focus 5 speed with 140 horses. That Mustang is a whole different level. Get one its fine. Remember this important fact about Mustangs. The first Mustang was a 6 cylinder. there are two types of Mustangs, cruisers and racers.

      Thanks a ton! This is my first review so I'm glad to hear that you thought it was a good one! Also glad to hear that you're planning to join the Mustang community! I was the same as you, after that first test drive I was hooked. It's a solid car and after almost 30,000 miles with a car/driving enthusiast(myself) behind the wheel I've still had zero issues with it. It's certainly one of the best of not THE best bang-for-your-buck cars out there.

    Great video! I have the same color 2013 V6 Premium with some upgrades. JLT Performance Cold Air Intake, Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust, a Performance computer tune, and the full Ford V6 Performance Package. This thing handles like a track car and at the same time smooth enough to be my daily driver. I average 21mpg mostly highway in South Florida. The OHTSU FP7000 tires on it stick to the road, wet or dry. I had been shopping for a GT, but drove this and had to have it!

    Hey Graham, just wanted to say as a 2010 v6 mustang owner myself, that the engine is extremely reliable as I'm about to hit 75k miles and most say it will last for another 100k. I'm inspired by many of your videos to mod mine, lower it on some springs, and change the exhaust.
    Love your videos I'll be subbed for a while👍🏼

    i’m surprised more ppl don’t have these or even the 2015-2017 v6. these are quicker then a lot of cars deemed “fast” for this price point especially. you can throw the 12 inch lcd digital dash and the 8 inch infotainment screen with the trim pieces that both come on the 2023 GT premium, if you really don’t like the interior and still be way cheaper to get into then a lot of other slower cars

    Nice review, but saying, that this Mustang handles extremely well is an overkill. I have a 2013 V6 with manual trans and a Mustang Club of America package, and my two problems with it is steering is shit and liveaxle causes wobbliness on the back. Front of a car is planted, but rear feels like it's from another car. I need to install Watts linkage, maybe that will help. When it comes to steering, it's typical for older generation of the electric power steering, that I don't feel much feedback from the front wheels. When you try to link a slide/drift, the steering wheel won't rotate itself as it should, so you have to do it manually making a car not too pleasant for drifting. All in all V6 Mustang is a great daily, but it could be slightly better.

    • @GrahamCain
      @GrahamCain  7 років тому +1

      Robin Sneila I think that's down to your tires, really. Some grip much better than others on wet surfaces!

    • @RickNethery
      @RickNethery 7 років тому +1

      Robin Aidan I drive a long commute in a 2013 Mustang V6. Great Car, but it does hydroplane easily. You must also be cautious on wet streets with the accelerator, the car has a lot of power. All in all, great road car, You just have to use extra caution in the rain.

    • @everythingautomotiveeta5839
      @everythingautomotiveeta5839 6 років тому

      Edgar Sandoval agreed with the gentleman above. Drive with caution in the wet. I've used a few different sets if tires. It does make a difference but with the acceleration part requires a gentle toe.

      They come with posi-traction in the rear axle. So you won't sit there spinning if you got to goose it and move.

    There's a small car shop down here and they have this 2013 Mustang and it has 24K miles on it. They are asking $3000 down, but does not list the price. I am afraid to ask lol.
    Now with the tax refund coming up soon, I can put down $3K and get it, but I am sure because it is a sports car and the monthly payments will be higher then regular car as well as the car insurance, I do not think I can afford the monthly payments.
    Man oh man do I want this car badly. I also want to install some $1500 car stereo system with subs amp etc to listen and blast the hell out of my music {trance, techno, rock and roll, metal}. Tint the windows as well.
    Then and maybe then I will find a hot chick and get laid lol.

    Man I'm really hooked on wanting to buy this car, but everyone keeps dogging on how horrible mustangs are and like you said that I need to get a V8 but just sitting in it makes you feel like a badass! I'm under 25 so insurance is going to kill me regardless no matter what car I get so even with this at least I would love getting in my car every day! Lol

    • @GrahamCain
      @GrahamCain  8 років тому +3

      There's not a single thing that's horrible about this car! I've had mine for three years now, put 38,000 miles on it, and I've had no issues what so ever. It's extremely reliable, handles very well, has good power (more than the 05-10 GT), is good on gas for a car like this, and the build quality is very solid. If you like this car it's definitely a good one! Don't let the haters deter you! You won't be sorry if you get one!

    • @GrahamCain
      @GrahamCain  8 років тому

      +Garrett Casey I understand that! Also, I'm not sure if you've checked yet, but the insurance really isn't all that bad for the V6. It's certainly a little more than a Civic I'm sure but it's not awful at all!
