In this video I take a trip to Eugene Oregon to Valley Powersports to pick up a new 2021 Can Am x3 RS Turbo RR Triple Black. The new CanAm x3 is not replacing the YXZ1000R and this new machine is not even for me. It's for my friend Ray who is going to be a new unit added to the channel. So now we'll be able to provide you with Can Am Maverick x3 Turbo content. Surprisingly this exact machine is difficult to find currently so we had to travel a little to pick it up. Even the sxsblog guys were having issues finding this exact machine.

How often do you guys ride winter conditions? And primarily where this part of the season?
Just picked up a X3, and looking for places that are good to utilize it close locally around here, would you have any suggestions that might not be the most popular areas? Seems difficult to find allocated areas around here? Particularly if you want to explore.
Are there good local areas that are less traveled anywhere to utilize a SXS?
Hope to see some good detailed technical X3 videos.
Couldn’t see the side of the hood, and I don’t think you mentioned it, this is the Non Smart Shox model?
This is the non smart shock version. We ride in the winter, just not in terrible weather. We just keep an eye out on the forecast. Brown's Camp is probably the best "close" place to ride. About just 1 hour from Portland. Thats mud trails. The closest sand is Sandlake and thats about 2.5hrs from Portland. If you're looking to ride with a group, I have a Facebook group you can join and see when we're all going out. The link is in the description of the video. Or just search on Facebook Briguy503s Group
@@BriGuy503 Thanks, are there good sites or lists to see all the various places where people utilize these, having trouble finding the "Smaller Less Known Areas" and hopefully places that are really close for a quick afternoon. I assume there are plenty, but maybe they are kept inside the smaller groups that utilize them? Even being able to find those groups to tag along might be helpful.
Are there many groups that go out around here? Like are there scheduled meets or anything similar?
@@101rotarypower Not really any lists I know about. Id like to find that list. lol La Dee flats is a close spot aswell but its closed currently because of the forest fires from last summer. Best place to find places to ride is to go on Facebook and find some riding groups.
That taco cart in the parking lot has some of the best street tacos in the area . You missed out if you didn't get some while you were there

I like the shifting on the YXZ and profile but, the HP on the Can-Am has me!
If you ride in the Sand you’ll want the HP!
The shifting can not be replaced by hp. Just nothing like it.

I guess for some, that matters. But there is always someone out there thats faster. I prefer to have fun, I dont have anything to prove. Just enjoy being out there.
Our Hill is right at camp!
Normally, I’m not into that either but, the steepness of our dunes makes the YXZ one of the slowest out there and that just doesn’t even cut it!
