    Here I have a quick install video for the new Mopar Wrangler JLU cargo Mats - leather trim. Note that these are slightly different if you have the cloth trim. These have done a great job so far in keeping the rear of the jeep easy to clean, especially with shedding dogs. Install shouldn't take too long once you get everything organized and cut out. If you have questions, drop me a comment and I'll reply with some help!

    Best install video on the tubes!! I almost took the gap filler off like shown in another video and it wasn’t necessary.

    The grommets that you used for the flap panel were reversed. The grommet (part C) that has a flat front (looks the carpet grommets), should be the part that rests against the carpet side of the panel. Behind the flap, the grommet (part D)with the retainer clips is used.
    If you have leather seats, like in the video, the panel is already installed in the car. This confused me so much when I received the kit because the manual made the installation appear to have two separate pieces: panel, and the metal bracket.
    For advice, you can lay the rubber mats on top of the carpet side of the seats, and press down hard enough to leave indentations in the carpet, which give you a reference point for the holes in the fabric that you have to cut.
    Good video! 👍

    Fabulous. Not only did All Mopar send me the wrong instructions, they made it appear I didn't get a nasty part. Still not an easy job for an idiot like me but impossible without this great video.

    HI - thanks for the video. I have read some reviews where people say the seat back protectors "pop off" when putting the seats up or down. Have you had that issue? It looks like they attach pretty securely in the video.... THANKS!

    • @alexkellum1
      @alexkellum1  4 роки тому

      Hey there Berton, I did experience the top ones popping off at times after raising the seats up. If you have weight on the cargo mat and you attempt to lay it flat, they will pull out too. Would have been nice if they added in more material at the joints to accommodate for this

      Berton Davis I would go with something else. The idea is there, just not the execution. Xgcargo makes great cargo protection. Give them a look!

      Berton Davis mine pop off for no reason at all and then you get the plastic on plastic rattle. 😡

    So my mat will not stay snapped into place. Is it possible I installed the grommets backwards?

    • @alexkellum1
      @alexkellum1  4 роки тому

      Andres Duque I would say 1-1.5 hours. Cutting the holes in the back seat is the time consuming part since I didn’t want to mess anything up!
