The chair is adorable. I love the color and using the hedgehog is perfect. You need to give yourself some grace. Life can be hard and challenging and you can't beat yourself up. We are just humans and imperfect but Praise God He loves us. I'd say a lot of crafters have struggles but don't admit them. I struggle with fabric selection and the pattern I'm going to use for a quilt. My mom's 79 and while I'm choosing a color, she has completed another quilt. I may hate it but it is what it is. I think you are talented and you are fun to watch. I hope you have a wonderful Easter. Ive tried to talk to my grandkids about why we celebrate Easter today.

You cracked me up when you said that she already has a quilt finished by the time you pick out your colors! Oh my gosh, I bout died laughing because that would definitely describe me for sure if I was a quilt maker. That would describe me to a “T”!.. With that being said, I’m betting in weeks & months down the road from now we will find we have even more in common. Lol. Girl, you are NOT alone... The crafting struggle is REAL and FACT! I ABSOLUTELY love how it turned out and I have terrible with transfer placement/which ones to put together out of all of my books/what to do with the scraps that are little pieces I cut off here and there. I have never been diagnosed with OCD, but I definitely deal with control, perfectionism, and procrastination. Anyway, I want to reach out to you on IG, because you are so humble, original, a great teacher, and you have great/beautiful ideas!

Thank you so very much Paige. Yeah I wanted the little deer & fox to go on it so bad. Those were the 2 I had in my mind when I started on the chair but they wouldn’t fit anywhere. Lol I tried & tried but it was gonna cut ALOT of their bodies off on the seat or even the sides. Shoot I’m to stingy with my transfers to use them and have to cut them all up. Blahahaha. It turned out great. 😊 I struggle with embellishments and transfer placement, too. I have this picture in my mind how I think it will look, but rarely am I satisfied with it when done because I feel like it needs more. The CRAZY thing is when I watch other creators or see their finished products, it's the simple ones that I love best. lol. I also struggle with alignment (very mild OCD). Papers have to be stacked by size and set perfectly aligned with edge of desk or table, etc. Dishes, cookers, cups, even silverware drives me crazy if it's not stacked by size. So I get you girl, random placement has more visual appeal but it's a real challenge. 🤯🙃 I haven't found a solution yet but like you I get frustrated with myself and say you HAVE to finish this before you can start a new project. It works most of the time. LOL.
Oh no! Lol. I hear ya on the papers & all things in the kitchen! That’s me to a “T”. Let’s don’t even get on the subject of clothes, closet & dressers. Lol. Yep, that’s what I kept telling myself while working on the chair was I could not start another project til I finished it & I was so OVER it so it definitely helped me to finally just put something on it! Lol. Hope you had a blessed Easter my love! ❤️
