When I was 15 I was in high school. It was such a rough experience and I contemplated ending my life several times. Then, this album came out. “Not Enough Love in The World,” “Angels Running,” and “What about the Moonlight” saved me! This album changed my life!!!
I was definitely not 15 in 1995. lol But I was turned to the UK edition of this album and fell in love (warmed to the US edition over time - still can't decide which version of "Angels Running" I love more). Music is my escape, so I understand what you mean when you say this album saved you. I'm so glad all you former 15 year olds didn't give up the good fight. The world is a better place with you in it.
This is my favorite Cher album since I was 14, back in 2014. It is perfect to me: a beautiful selection of 14 songs about deep feelings and real human experiences. I love how it shows that men, the ones that originally wrote the songs, can be just as sensitive as women. It's really special.
This was my first,my own money Cher cd ( not vinyl I have sisters I "borrowed" from) and this is still and will always be a favorite album,especially the UK release

The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore (everyone mostly remembers it from X-Files) is probably my most favorite track. Followed closely by The Gunman.

This album brings back m memories. From the bold, fantastic cover art, to the stellar ballads. This is the best version of Walking in Memphis, One by One is one of the best & underrated Cher songs and I'm Blowing Away is such a superb cover it's almost as if it was written for Cher's voice ❤🥰

A lot of work went into the album as Cher went to a vocal teacher to do vocals she had never done before reaching places she had never reached before .. the album is a collection of great songs written by men doing her take on them !! She is the first singers album I ever bought and is my Queen the only true Diva !! She did it all first and the rest just try to copy her !!!
I just listened to this album again in its entirety and it was a reminder of how brilliant it is. The album has a cohesive sound with a southern bluesy rock feel to it and Cher’s vocals are simply beautiful. It really is an underrated and rather unknown gem in Cher’s catalog, but it is one of her best albums ever recorded.
This album made me a total big fan of Cher for life! It helped me a lot during a difficult period in the late 90's! Thank you so much Mrs CHER! I adore you!

I am struggling..what is actually different about this in comparison to the 1995 version?? All the mixes are the same, there are no new songs, I don't get re releasing an album 30 years later lol Although... I'd love them to put stars on cd and maybe re record with today's instruments as that album was stunning 😍
