I think we will come to understand that the West Coast conference is a bit underrated, especially in though smaller gyms. It is a different kind of grind. We are rightfully concerned about how BYU will do in the Big 12, but there will be several teams that should be very winnable games in the Big 12. The idea that suddenly we won't able to compete in the Big 12 is not serious based on what we have seen so far. And Khalifa's previously unknown ability to pass out of the post is a game changer. BYU is a dangerous team this year.

Most exciting about the team this year is the progress of several players especially Robinson, Hall, Waterman, and Saunders. They have all improved dramatically versus last year. The other big improvement is the defense and defensive mentality. It is completely different than previous couple of years. Last but not least is taking care of the ball. So nice to see. Hopefully they can sustain these improvements when competition gets a lot tougher.

Oklahoma was last in the big 12 even though they trounced one seed bama and ran through their non con. I'm enjoying, but very guarded come January

I think the grind of the Big XII season will make the 3 point percentage drop some - but the fact that it isn't reliant on one or two players makes me think they could have some resilience there. Adding Dawson Baker would also potentially help with this guardline staying sharp if he can get in shape and in sync with everyone else.
