I think Compact SUV nu varumpothu maximum 10-11 Lakh varaikum ok but spending more than that, we can rethink of moving to next segment SUV.
Sonet is good for featuristic interior & Steering Smoothness. It gives a fun driving for drivers.
Headlamps could’ve been done better as you asked.
Since ground clearance is little high compared to other cars might get a body roll.
I would like to answer one of your question sir, I’m also a first time buyer & I booked Sonet HTK Plus. I Chose compact suv segment because it gives a good road confidence to me than a hatchback.
I’ll rate myself as 3/5 in driving nor an expert nor an newbie but will make a decent average driving. Also Namma ooru road ku 1st time car palagumpothu bottom laam even if I did any small mistake it won’t get damaged.
How is your service experience, cost and quality of the material after long time.

As I am a KIA Sonet owner, 1.5 HTX Diesel, I too felt this has the feature loaded vehicles with driving enthusiastic vehicle.
I can say XUV 300 is better space and comfort, but cost wise KIA is better than all other vehicles.
i too give 4.5/5 rating for the KIA Sonet. Need to have glove box cooling and rear seat comfort.
Build Quality ?
XUV300 has punch engine than sonet and highly stabled than Kia ..

@@GuGhaRaj XUV have many Saftey features like All wheel disc break, front parking sensor, Heated ORVM, Knee airbag, 2nd row 3 seat belt, centered fuel tank, corner stability which is missing in Sonet.. people will fall in Bose speakers and 10inch touchscreen and ventilated seat but they miss actual saftey features...

I'm using I20 more then. 5 years, Planning to upgrade car, in 13L range, I felt Kia Sonet HTX IMT is best car value for money. But if they do NCAP crash test would be good.

As a fellow Kia Sonet diesel GTX Auto…..agree 100% with the User Review Rating……Enjoying Long Drives in the Sonet…..Very Less Driving Fatigue on Long Drives which is a very important factor in day to day driving……shuttle 400 kms a week and Sonet has made it a breeze.
What's the Fuel Efficiency you are getting in the city? I test drove diesel AT in bumper to bumper Traffic. MID was showing 10 Kmpl which is very less for diesel. I think the car in the video is diesel Manual. Birla mentions ARAI of the car is 24Kmpl which is of diesel manual. Diesel AT Arai is 19kmpl.
Car is a good choice, what i faced as a major drawback is Headlights use in highways, not enough visibility

Hai sir I am using kia sonet 1.5 diesel AT midrange for the past 1 year. I would like to share my experience. while driving attending phone calls is very clear through mic, Automatic gear is very useful in bumper to bumper traffic , Braking ok. tested speed once at 173 km with braking finding less comfort at that speed , HAC is good , Halogen headlight is very normal in high ways during night so i changed headlight and foglamps with hid(my instrument cluster show warnings).i changed car wheels to kia company alloy wheels. some time i use think i would have gone for AT higher model. MY rating is 4.5. thank you

Sonet is a game changer and really good in terms of features,design.. but in terms of safety it's only 3*..Not sure why a big auto brand lile Kia is giving Cheap Build quality like India.. If they improve the build quality it will definitely boost confidence of buyers..

I too have a Kia Sonet, but mileage 16 in city in not at all possible , max to max it is giving 10 km, and highway it is giving 16 to 18 km.

This car is not worth for 15 lakhs that's for sure...but anyway it impressed few % of people...that's the kia target .they achieved it....but nissan magnite is the best ,value for money and no.1 in this compact suv segment. Followed by that definitely its Nexon.

Sorry to say but a very mediocre user review. The User should have shared a lot more points. Mr. Birla kept asking a lot and only 1 word answers were given. Also I felt the User didn’t want to reveal any drawbacks with the car.
For example, I own a Creta 1.4 Diesel and the highway stability of it is quite questionable after 165+ KMs. User saying Sonet makes 170 feels like 120 may not be true.
i have gone like 140 and car was stable, major draw back is headlight in highways, I feel its very less powered.
@@hslingam 140 is definitely doable. Also, I have the exact same issue with headlights on my Creta.

I have Kia Sonet 1.2l htk plus variant .. and am totally dissatisfied with the engine... pulling power is worst in 3 / 4 th gear .. when u reduce speed and take without changing gear or change frm 4 to 3 it's too bad.. it's like as if someone is pushing from back that is how the vehicle moves

Seltos has finished 2.5 years,many customers has already appreciated it's low service cost,it's in par with Hyundai in all aspects,so without doubt service will be similar. I don’t own kia and don’t have personal experience.. u may be true that kia Could’ve low maintenance cost and good selling records (6/7th position?) in the USA.. all I was asking a question based on what I heard… btw it would take another 6-7 yrs to prove how good kia engines are…

He told that kiger, magnite, brezza, venue as competitor for this sonet car. But Birla will not say Nexon name ( மறந்தும் கூட சொல்ல மாட்டார்). Nexon is number 2 in compact suv sales after brezza and it always in top 10 car sales for every month.

As this is a first car for the user, he enjoys every part of info features and gave 5/5 blindly. It is very difficult to say 5/5 or 10/10 for any car in the world. There is always a gap/missing things in it. He forgot to mention 6 airbags that only come with GTX+, apart from Bose speakers and ventilated seats. None of Sonet Techline variants have six airbags.
In htx plus 6 airbags comes
