This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Hi there. It was in a little courtyard in between the cinema and Suvorov square. It all seemed a bit temporary so I don't know if it is still there now. Please let us know if you find it or if is no longer there. Best of luck. 👍
@@FrugalTravellers In that case, pretty sure it's gone :) Was there recently, and already saw your video beforehand and tried to find it, but in that area it wasn't there, at least not from Friday through Monday.
@@willzyxOfficial That's such a shame. We just looked on Google Earth and couldn't see it, so thanks for letting us know it's no longer there. Have you been to the market outside the bus station at Bender? I'm not sure if you've seen that video? ~ Lee ua-cam.com/video/H4X0VtV84w4/v-deo.html
Wow! I took my two children there in 2013. I read in a guide book not to take a camera there. So I left it at our accommodation in Moldova. We got off the train there and a window box opened. A lady looked at our passports. Then I changed money into their currency. We walked over to a river where we sat down for a snack. Two local ladies came along with their babies in pushchairs. They spoke good English and told us behind the bus station is a very cheap market place. Yes, it certainly was and we bought a number of essential things. The peas were lovely to eat. We took a bus back to Moldova before it got dark. I managed to get a postcard and a fridge magnet. Sadly I couldn't find any costume dolls to buy. I found that an off the beaten track delight. I met a man that lives in London and he has visited Bender. Another similar place is Belarus where we spent a few days.
Sounds like you had a great time there Maxine. That's quite adventurous travelling there with your children. It's not the usual family destination but must have been a real eye opener for them. That is wonderful that you give your kids the opportunity to experience many different places in the world. Travel is the best education and the experiences you have together will stay with you for a lifetime. Keep up the adventurous lifestyle!! We will be visiting Belarus in a few months. and are very excited about it. Do you have any specific recommendations for there?
@@FrugalTravellers I have taken my children to a variety of different destinations. On that trip it was all train with no planes. We had a whole day in First Class opposite a couple from the Crimea travelling across the Ukraine. Then we slept on Third Class bunks on a train which took us to Moldova. Our next destination of Odesa which we really loved. We took a tram to a Ukrainian beach. I have a lovely photo of my children on a double swing test there. It was a very long train journey over to Hungary after that.

Must resist disliking that reply hahaaha😊 nah I actually envy you coz you still haven’t read Harry Potter books... they’re great when you have the time

Love you too, our real-life friend! See you next year for a catch-up and chinwag 😀
Thanks for the video! I can't find that memorabilia market on your route map. Where is it at?
