Even though flying within China (and sometimes from China) can be chaotic by western standards, it is always nice to fly on a widebody like the 777 even on a 2 hour flight!.
Guess these days there are lots of delays on flights to Guangzhou. Last week I was supposed to fly CZ from Shanghai Hongqiao to Guangzhou on their A350 in Business Class but it was canceled and changed to a later flight with eh same aircraft type. Also, the new flight delayed like almost everyday according to fr24 so I refund in the end. But I finally got a cheap fare on that day from Nanjing to Guangzhou on CZ3618 operated by a Boeing 777-300ER in Economy so I booked that flight instead. It arrived from Guangzhou on-time but also got delayed for 2 hours due to bad weather in Guangzhou but still made it to my connecting flight with another airline back to Jakarta.
@@Travelstar98 The delay on my flight was also due to the weather conditions and we experienced very unpleasant turbulence on board... I think we should spare sufficient transit time when transiting in Guangzhou else we might miss the connecting flights. @@ryan_cy Also, with the similar flight time of SHA-CAN and NKG-CAN, they only serve snacks including one hot chicken puff in Economy instead of a hot meal like yours

The flight to CAN was 80% full. I paid around USD 300 for SHA - SIN both ways with a transit in CAN 😉 - 9:53 The exit row is perhaps for those who wants comfort more than outside view. 14:19 Yes they made the announcement in English, but it is of synthetic voice 😅. 17:38 The turbulence was caused by bad weather in southern part of China. 🥲
Yes, I did check in my bag (free 1 pc/ 2pcs depending on your flight route, ,23 kg (50lb)/pc, the sum of L+W+H per piece≤158cm). For strictness, it is really dependent on the check-in counter staff. As for flight experience, we can't compare its standard with legacy airlines, but it delivers good value for money! ☺️
