2021 CASHDAYS Midway Raceway - 28 March

Midway Raceway outside Pretoria hosted it's monthly Cashdays, and offcourse we had to be there to bring you the best drag racing event coverage in South Africa!! Congrats to Craig Czank who piloted his drag built 2jz Toyota Supra to the finals and ultimately winning Cashdays.

@@CCDVIDEO i realise cars break when racing. Whether it is dragracing or circuit is it not the rule to pull off/over when something like that happens? The racing was stopped for 3 hrs. How many ppl did not get a run for the day because of that. Or is there no timelimit here on our tracks?

Your guys video quality is superb. I wish the strip was longer as I can see you guys are doing 1/8 mile run. Well organized event and I think thats a great starting platform. That strip has potential for a longer runway.

Midway the worst racetrack ever, dont take cards, no shade anywhere not even a kakibos to sit on, no pavilion to accommodate seating, one stall that sells food and cooldrink, you wait a half hour for one hotdog after ordering after waiting a hour in a queue and when you just want a cooldrink the queue is a hour long. Midway looks like a gravel pit with a little 200m track. Useless.

It’s still a relatively new track and there is almost always new improvements done whenever I go there. Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. I am pretty sure the good experiences at the track far outweighs the bad experiences
