This is one of the best vids yet Guthrie. There’s some gems in this vid! Screw the video quality there’s years of knowledge in those arpeggios and scale lines!❤️🔥😎🙏
Guthrie....you started to sing, and what I heard sounded good....do it man! I have to say...missed you! Another great video...and more stuff to play with. 🙂
I Just Want to Thank You Mr Guthrie trap you were the final peace to the puzzle for guitar for me is like therapy just to clear my head and thanks to you tube
Guthrie - it’s Great to see you on cam with guitar in hand. I shut up & listen whenever this occurs, for good reason. please keep’em coming our way, when you can…Lord knows we get busy, time flies & there’re more distractions than ever these days.
Guthrie, I believe some of us need technique lessons too....we see what you are doing with the lesson and chord shape stuff, but many of us need to figure out how to play stuff that we learn with the rhythm and timing, alternate picking wise and such
I wish I'd known about partial chords and how to play cool embellishments years ago when I was struggling to learn and play bluegrass songs and trying to keep up with the back porch and parking lot virtuosos I had fallen in with. 😀
Dude! You're far and away the best guitar teacher that I've ever seen! I've blatantly stolen so much from you, Lol! Signing up for artist works and next time I'm in Nashville(hopefully soon) I'm making a point of coming to your shows! Keep the fantastic stuff coming! BTW, you SHOULD charge for mistakes, they sound better than most of the stuff I purposely play!
Hey Guthrie thanks for all the great videos. Your playing and attitude are amazing and appreciated. I've been playing for a long time and I find inspiration in every video you release. On the Am E7 progression....would you think of switching to the A Harmonic Minor scale while over the E7 (to catch the G#) or are you thinking more chord shapes? I always thought a G# Dim arpeggio sounded cool over the E7 to Am.
Amazing playing as always Guthrie, notice you always use the Martin now after years of seeing you with the Gibsons. I know you're not a gear guy but curious what the story of your guitars is. Be great to see a vid on that some time. Thanks
Yes, my bad. This song is called Gold Rush! Not sure how I missed this one. It’s been a while!
Awesome stuff man, thank you. We need more GT x Grateful Dead!
I apologize for the sub par video quality on this one. I won’t be videoing in that room anymore! See you all real soon.
No apology necessary sir. Thanks for sharing with us, in any way that you do.
No need to apologize...it's all about the excellent content!
Great to see you post again Guthrie. No apology needed. Looking forward to many more. Cheers man!
