Tanner, you did so well buddy. That was some great racing and it was also fun to watch. I'd call it a successful night actually, even if you didn't make it into the feature. Well done.
Knoxville is tough. It will reveal any deficiency in your car, setup, or even you as a driver. Little mistakes are huge on a big fast half mile. Don't take that at criticism though, you beat some good cars and are always learning, trying to bring something better each time. Good work Tanner.
Mucho congrats on the win tanner ,, nice trophy. Get carly to put the magic touch on that 410 ya gotta win that one tanner ! Im rootin for you Go ! Go.! Go ! I want your hauler to struggle hauling those heavy trophys home! 18T all the way!!
What can I say Tanner, I've been following you on YT for quite a few years now and your progression has been awesome to watch. There's no doubt about it I think your car is as good as anybody out there you've proven that time and again and especially at Knoxville. I think that you have to change your mindset a bit by not protecting but being a little more aggressive. I watch you on the high side and whoever is around you can't stay with you. Watch how fast you caught the 15th place car and that was a gap you made up. I am looking to see how you do coming up at Douglas County. That is your home track I believe? Do it Tanner! Go get that feature you have the car, the crew and most definitely the skills. Even if you have to forget about filming and go out there for a win. Good luck we're all rooting for you.
I liked how you seemed to make better choices on your lane selection at the right time which kept you moving forward. I think your race craft is really starting to excel your intuition is improving that is all you can do. Great job.
Running the bottom takes a bit more finesse than the top. When the bottom has enough to get both tires hooked up, or close, that forward bite is crucial. Big tracks may require a slightly different cam spec, at least maybe have a big track motor spec'd out for the half milers. Interested in seeing how things pan out on your west coast trip. I may come to one night of the Skagit trio. If I do, I'll make sure to come say hi and grab some apparel. Good run Tanner, keep that evaluating going, it just gives the next race some info. Say hi to Carly, I think she is doing great at understanding the car and will one day be super invaluable as a car chief. Listen to her, I know you do but, give some of her ideas a good listen, even though you're the one in the seat. We tried a 6/2 at Skagit one time, what a ride that was. Even though Skagit is a total bull ring, maybe go out on a limb on Wednesday. Always wet to start, even through to the main. In this case there may be three of them. Bottom in one and two, for the most part, top in three and four. It depends on car count, attrition and so on. Here, the car needs to be able and work everywhere, so gearing is crucial, wing angle stagger, offset, etc.. I remember back in the 90s when a feller, I think last name was smith, #21, a hotdog young feller was running hard. Put it up into the fence in #3 high enough that it took quite awhile to get it down. It just hung there. After that his aspirations were toned way back. You've been in some carnage before so keep a level head on you when balancing out each move. Don't forget those soft spots in the corners as well, they will eat a car pretty quickly. I don't believe in luck, good or bad, we all make our own choices and sometimes the way I see it is, if it's meant to be it will be, good bad or indifferent...remember my saying.....always something.....keep this present at all times and always expect the unexpected, so in other words, stay on you toes....
Your in car video reminded me of typical asphalt short track racing. It was nice to hear a lift of the throttle and driving through the center 😀 You did the best you could with what you had. After watching the Nationals the past two years, I'm not sure I see there's a benefit to qualifying. You end up with a bunch of fast times not qualifying through heat races because of the invert and the inability to pass on a fast racetrack.
I think it’s the Cams, in the 410 and 360. You just can’t fire off, and not enough leg, down the stretch entering corner. But ya can’t add more gear, or you’ll be way to far behind on the restart.
Yo huge congrats bro! Knoxville win is amazing! Also I asked this last video but I wanna ask again, there have been rumors that you are coming to my home town Perth australia 🇦🇺 for the High Limit weekend, so I must ask, will you decide to go or no? ❤
Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity. If you don't make positive changes to the car, you won't move forward.
360 block is cast iron 410 block is aluminum color difference is obvious 360 has no down nozzles 410 has down nozzles Nozzles are visible at a glance 360 has 23 degree heads 410 has 12 degree heads 12 degree heads are taller @ $41,500 A new Salina 410 engine (USAC perfect) costs less than a new Salina 360. *Exception:* A USAC Silver Crown 360 engine can (And some do) have aluminum blocks with down injector nozzles. This engine is typically the most expensive combination. Be it SBC or Toyota.
Hey, what the hell? 2023, you got up to 5th until you ran over Zeb Wise.in the A @ 360 nationals. 2024 you transfer out of the C. Run 15 in the donkey B feature. That's a regression of 34 positions overall. Vomit!
Well, I would imagine that his media status has helped him fund his racing program. Don’t you think? I think he’s perfectly capable of doing both and he’s young man. I think the more sponsors and the more help that he can get the better people he can hire to help him find his dreams. More Power to Ya Tanner.
I agree with @russelmoore8513 sometimes you have to get rid of the distractions. Dont mean he has to quit YT just when its race time its time to focus on racing. The kid has everything he needs invluding ability and skills.

Being from Central NY and a huge Syracuse fan. I love the new fire suit. Let's go Orange !
Let’s go tanner! One of the best drivers out there
I liked how you seemed to make better choices on your lane selection at the right time which kept you moving forward.
I think your race craft is really starting to excel your intuition is improving that is all you can do.
Great job.
I think you stated that your suit wasn’t supposed to be orange but it looks great to me. I like orange and that suit has lots of pop! Great suit!

Hold your head high you did really well tanner in the 360 c and b feature

Have you ever considered taking a bit of the track with you from each and every track you go to?
Great effort from everyone at THR! This won't be your last time at Knoxville. Give em hell next time!
Go West, young man. It's bull ring time.
Will see you in Oregon.
I’d love to see u come to Perth Western Australia with the high limits sprint car series. That would be awesome
Takes mucho $$$$$$ to get there and make a stand.
He would get eaten alive.
You Aussies have just as many Hot-shoes as the States.
tanner i have a question what style of suit do u choose when u order a custom suit

360 Nationals and you walk the intro with a 360 camera!
Nab Corey's crew chief....👍👍🏁

Keep digging, you will make it. Hey carly
How does an official know what motor you have in your car. Meaning looking at it how do they tell if it’s a 360 or 410 at a glance???
360 block is cast iron 410 block is aluminum color difference is obvious
360 has no down nozzles 410 has down nozzles Nozzles are visible at a glance

See you Saturday in Placerville
They do volume tests to determine the cuin.

Kool ❤

Track seemed "sticky" and the cars seemed to slide less. More like just driving around the corner.??

Time tomake a choice, media tart or racer. Just an idea but get in,sit down, shutup and drive.
