Good luck with picking up a new hobby! I have a feeling you are going to love it. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see other videos -- I'm always happy to add to my repertoire!
I would like to try needlepoint. I think I still have a book of different stitches for canvas. However I would like to incorporate these stitches with my other projects which are not on canvas. Can these stitches be worked on aida and evenweave?
Yes, you're right. Thanks for catching that. I accidentally left off 2 of my #8 stitches when I made the video. Sorry about the mistake, but thanks for paying close attention to it!
Oops! You're right. Thanks for catching that. I starting that joining stitch a bit too early. In fact, the placement of that last join stitch should have been over the line and wouldn't have appeared in the section I stitched under the line. Sorry about the mistake.
I’ve been searching for a fun stitch for a fun canvas for a long time. I am a long time stitcher but I’m afraid of jumping into the decorative stitches. I keep relying on basketweave. I’m going to try this one!! What I need is a fantastic local needlepoint store and a bunch of lessons! You’d think that would be easy to find in Los Angeles; but alas, no. Thank you for a great tutorial!!
Ty for the clear explanation, I’m just getting ready to try needlepoint. I’m a cross stitcher but looking to expand.

I think you started the #6 row before you finished the next two 8 rows on the third rectangle

I think that last joining stitch on the first row is too early.

Thanks for the tutorial. I am looking for a good fill for a large background and this is beautiful!
@@karenkemmerling7088 Enjoy it! It's a fun stitch to do and moves quickly, so it's great for a large background.
