"Vague, blurry memories"? Knowles was either intellectually dishonest or incredibly ignorant when discussing the scientific consensus about climate change. Multiple studies published in peer-reviewed journals show that climate-warming trends over the past century are extremely likely due to human activities, and although the 90% statistic was first reported decades ago, it has recently been independently replicated numerous times in several peer-reviewed studies [e.g. 1-7]. So by implying the consensus is outdated or irrelevant by saying it's "decades old", Knowles is either actively trying to mislead people or he has no fucking idea what he's talking about - which is worse? Also, the reason some surveys find less agreement is because those surveys are the ones who included the opinions of non-experts, such as economic geologists and self-selected groups of climate change-deniers. We already know that the level of consensus correlates strongly with expertise in climate science [1]. Meanwhile, Knowles is acting as if the level of agreement is so high only because non-expert opinions were included -- which is the exact opposite of what's happening, as the level of consensus INCREASES as the level of expertise INCREASES [1]. And still Knowles is acting as if he actually knows the "science". Clown. But his point about fast changes was right. Or do you think there is no global warming? Or do you think global warming rates are not an issue? I'd say a good part of it is (in this case) to learn how to listen and how to apply reason and logic from teachers and parents, who either have failed to teach these values or were like preachers, telling the child/student of the one truth they are supposed to never question. Therefor, if one holds on to a belief/idea blindly, be it religious or science (e.g. earth was made 4000 years ago, flat earth, hyperloop, solar roadway and wherever it may apply), then it might not be because of missing intellect but on denial and refusing to give up a belief-system. In reality he will waste his life and blame others all the time for all of it.

This consensus differs in nature from, say, the political one, primarily by the terms on which one could be reached, but it is still a consensus. To forget about it would be somewhat misleading. To be fair, a lot of being able to debate does not necessarily have to do with DNA or IQ.
Might even live in a bubble, an echochamber, never being questioned, never questioning.
This is why you make kids (especially boys) mow the lawn, shovel the snow, clean the garage, etc. They have to learn that their precious little feelings don't mean shit in the real world.
OR, for parents to ACTUALLY ‘parent’.
God bless Knowles for taking the time to do this stuff
Why do all of them look the same....... I can see them from a mile away!!!!
I can even smell the soy fumes coming out of that kids body through my phone screen all the way out here in the philippines 😂
Lol true, but I commented actually to say that you look absolutely beautiful
It’s the hatred in their hearts caused by their immense confusion that radiates out from them in the unmistakable look you recognize as them.
like they have been drawn with a crayon by a 8 year old kid?
Lol. So funny
"My primary question is that you tell a lot of lies!"
Cool question bro.
*I would have told him; ‘I’ll see you in 20 years kid and just like all of Al Gore’s claims failed, this one will fail too.’*
I feel sad that I was so brainwashed by the Democrats and leftists when I was younger. In so many ways, it really led me down a path of failure and misery. Fortunately I started to wake up in 2015 when I was 33. Although I had already been fighting with those people for years before that without knowing the reasons.
Before worrying about climate change he should worry about his skin. 🤣
I just found this guy destroying people in debates and he’s my brother in arms at this point.
Bravo.
He’s awesome. He wrecks kids like it’s nothing
In the 70's we were told we'd have another ice age in 20 years...
the problem with those predictions is that they assumed exponential emmision growth without mitigation, While of course true exponential growth is impossible and there is mitigation.
They always say 20 years to motivate(scare) the parents into doing something for their children
Well actually we are in an ice age right now we're just in the interglacial medium.
Joke about it if you like, but I can think of more than a few times I had to wear an extra shirt under my scrub top.
Al Gore made millions and millions of dollars lying about where we'd be today, he was completely wrong
He's so worked up that he almost started crying.
I felt kinda bad for the guy. You can tell he's living in a cloud of fear and worry. I think Knowles could tell the kid genuinely believed what he was saying and took it easy on him. Didn't seem like he had an agenda. Just confused and lost.
I remember the 80s and being told we are soon to freeze to death.
Do you remember how we were all going to die from acid rain? And the hole in the ozone layer? And the Y2K bug? Pepperidge Farm remembers. It's almost like there is a pattern of continuous hysterical doomsday claims pumped by the media
Yes, we were also told the United States is going to be overrun by killer bee's coming from Mexico.
@Tiberius I'mserious HAHA
And then Spring came....
my uncle is still waiting for that ice age that climate alarmists were talking about in the 1980's.
Him: "I'm not a, ya know, idiot"
Everyone else: Welllllllll......
It's easier to fool people than it is to convince them that they were fooled.
People prefer ignorance. Hardly news; is it, Satan? He who fools the fool is foolish - duh! ( v23 Pg 1)
Looks like this kid’s head is going to explode with the overload of logic Knowles throws at him.
Home schooling never looked so good until now!!!😂🤣😂🤣
His face when he said “CELCIUS” 😭😂😭😂😭
@Battle Kat that's a low end sauna. You could slow cook beef in the sun.
At 1.53 and I agree. Funny stuff
I remember the "97%" back in 1997... Lmmfao
"I agree and that's why when I make a mistake rare as it may be I fix it."
Straight up savage!
The whole point of these kids is "i wanna be right!"
Kinda the whole premise of a debate.
@@jchidi sure but you also debate to learn and get better. If your whole point is to always be right no matter what arguments youre facing youre just being stubborn.
I remember when I was a teenager this “scientists” predicted we would be under water by 2020...
...still waiting!
Just sitting around in my swim fins and goggles all disappointed
@@evage99 All dressed up and no where to go.
Me too 😂😆
Umm I was told no ozone.... where did that hole go.
You want to know the truth. Yeah, there is some climate change going on from human activity. In 100 year, if nothing changes (and things are being done to prevent it), the temperature will rise 1 degree, and the oceans will rise about 2 inches. Yeah, I think we'll be ok.
Dude this is the kind of kid I’d be super nervous to see walk into a room.
That's the kind of kid you'd find in four different dumpsters on the Sopranos.
Yeah, the estrogen leaking off their bodies is horrible
@@alaskannative11 true. No facial hair...

@@alaskannative11 The absolute state of Western masculinity.
The fact that this trend will only continue to grow is legit scary.
When he said 72
Degrees CELSIUS, I physically recoiled
So cringgge
I started internally giggling at him. Making yourself more pronounced like that is clear sign of an unstable foundation in his argument.
♥️ I keep coming back to this.
“You told lies tonight”
*one minute later*
“You didn’t tell any lies tonight”
😂
"Science is not made by consensus." Why do "facts" upset the liberals? Ultimate mystery.
Liberals and leftists function on feelings rather than facts. You challenge them in this and they either shut down or throw tantrums.
What facts? You do understand that Knowels has no scientific background, but a bachelor in history and Italian?
@@hamster4618 let me ask you, do you need a background in field to be knowledgeable in it or can a person perform research to be knowledgeable it?
@Bryan mark what "facts" did he give?
@Bryan mark i heard zero facts, zero proof why climate change doesn't exist. Stating you think it doesn't exist doesn't make it so, that's simply an opinion.
Don’t think for yourselves kids -

These kids are always so self-assured. It’s adorable.
