- Today, we’re making #DuoSteamedEggWithTofu, a familiar Chinese cuisine dish that can be prepared using very common ingredients that can be found in your home. But the taste is anything but common! This silky, smooth, packed with flavour dish takes just about 10 minutes to prepare, perfect for impromptu recipes you can whip up for your friends and family. Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- A bowl of chicken stock
- Soft tofu
- 1 salted egg
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Shallots
- Soy sauce
- Fish sauce
- Water
- Spring onion

Hello from England. Just discovered your channel. Love it. I am chef, working in a care home. I visited Malaysia many years ago and love the food, I love spicy food. Just discover this channel,i search how to cook steamed tofu i thought the ingredient is just egg and tofu haha but its not my madam is very vegetarian she dont like garlic,onion and she dont eat chicken or any meat even fish,shrimp she dont like it that why is so stressing for me what to cook for her everyday im not verygood when it comes to cooking specially chinese food im a filipina and im here in malaysia now working with this chinese couple, maybe sooner i will quit with my job and will go back to ph haha, probably i will pursue my plan just to work as a call center agent than working at home with this chinese couple😊anyways thanks for this channel😊godbless

Or you can simply plop the whole tofu from the container directly onto the dish and gently slice your tofu then. Saves you the scariness of having to transfer super soft tofu from the chopping board.
