- What is Pertandingan Agak-Agak?
Pertandingan Agak-Agak is a contest held on board the rig during rig move. Direct translation of "Pertandingan Agak-Agak" is "Estimation Contest".

Every rig move, the rig will be preloaded to 100% leg reaction after final position accepted. In this contest, the crew have to estimate date & time for the completion of preloading. Thus, they have to learn every aspect of rig move operation in order to estimate the date & time of completion preloading.
Reason we introduce "Pertandingan Agak-Agak" is for educational purposes. The crew will learn the steps of rig move operation from the time the rig jack down from drilling elevation to afloat draft, watertight integrity test (half of floating draft), leg retraction, move off from location, study the weather, calculation of ETA, duration for rig mover to soft pin the leg, anchor handling operation, final approach with anchor wire, potential sliding issue at final position near platform, shallow channel issue, RPD issue and duration of preloading operation.
By knowing all the rig move steps, the crew will anticipate what is the next operation and prepare the rig accordingly.
