Roy Rice I need a contact for someone that can come out and move 18 pumping units and the cement slabs they are sitting on.... and suggestions?? In the Westbrook area... they aren't 640's they are smaller pump jacks.
That brought back a lot of memories 👍 I spent a lot of years working derrick's in the oil-field of (NE) Oklahoma and southern Texas. H&P Drilling Co, One Oak, Core Drilling, Trig Drilling and many others. I know no one really cares much, but i had a lot of good (and bad) memories, some time on Drilling rigs (Derrick's) and Work-Over rigs (Same position). I loved it.
I never heard the term “pulling unit” before. In Canada we call them service rigs. I worked on single/doubles (single joint of tubing and double stand of rods). Mostly on heavy or medium crude and natural gas wells. 3.5”, and occasionally 4.5” or 2 7/8” oil well tubing and 2 3/8” tubing in gas wells. A lot of rotary pumps and some pump jacks. Roughnecked for a year, worked derrick for 4 and derricked/relief drilled for a year. Was a good job. I loved being up in the stick. Had to work off farm to keep the farm going. Book days off to put crop in or take it off. Pretty good crew and hell of a clean rig! Rigs up here just naturally get dirty over time. Inspection on spring break up and we would give her a nice bath and shone ‘er up again.
Great video. I work on a pulling unit. Floor hand. Been thinking about using a go pro. I get hella dirty though. But fnck yeah man. Nice video and music score.
xlent video.i started in salt creek field wyo.and 25 yrs later moved to redi mix in ventura ca.due to slow down in the patch.and needed a chg of scenery.good crew looks like.attic rat latches that tall stuff good as iv seen.1st operaten job was a triple double franks at 19 yrs old.not so special just drank less and showed up regular.haha.be carefull out there lads'
Excellent video. We are just beginning to see the forefront of the employment of drones. And like most technology....it can be used for good purposes and..... it can be used for evil purposes. Again, superb vid.
Tim Martin, can you tell me what kind of presentation you’ll be creating? I’d be flattered to see one of videos in a presentation... Will you share with me your presentation?
@@DavidWilliams-mr5nl because its about somebody with no experience getting a job on a rig. I leave for work next week. But i can understanding why you would say it, i am learning. How about you answer the question instead of being an ass, if you actually watch my videos you would understand.
Wow.. that is the cleanest rig/ crew I have ever seen.
That rig is the perfect color for a workover rig. Love it.
"Back in the hole with the tubing"- retired pumper from West Texas.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

That brought back a lot of memories 👍

Was that in Alberta or Saskatchewan or maybe Manitoba?
Great video. I work on a pulling unit. Floor hand. Been thinking about using a go pro. I get hella dirty though. But fnck yeah man. Nice video and music score.
I love those service kings awesome rigs the boat throttle for the disk assist and it can go from 5th gear to 2nd and back with the flip of a switch
I noticed this location and rig is clean, boy.
That is the coolest video I've seen. I used to run a pulling unit. I wished we had drones then. I would've gotten a cool vid like this
nice video bro.been working on the pulling units for five years now.
Like what Derrick man?
Desde argentina Mendoza un trabajo que poco conocen y a mí me dio muchas satisfacciones y posibilidades economía se extraña 27 años de servicio

The safety felt when Derek take pipe rack load from being emety .
Damn that must be a deeep well
Man love runnin a pole rig double drrum
Yeah. That’s a rig, no doubt about that.
Very cool
Bet yall can't say you still dabble in Walker neer spuds.
I wanna know how y'all are so clean lol
richard lascko the oil fields are only filthy on TV, and in pictures. It's not anything like it used to be back in the day.
its not a stripper job that day lol
It all depends on the crew. How clean they are. Lol
Safe or nah?
The Derrick is painted brown. It's not filthy.
Worked derricks on an old Franks many moon ago.
Is this Nathan sorrels rig Snyder well service
I miss it latching pipe on the run but had to move to the brake handle good hand
Yeah. Love seeing crews that still latch them elevators on the run .
Colton Dry with my dad on the brake there was no other way
Now it's your turn to run that rig wide open and teach these new hands how to trip pipe. Can't let the new generations get lazy on us
Why does the Derrick look like it’s rusted. Is that the colour ? It’s looks good I just have never seen a Derrick painted that colour before.
Que se necesita para entrara ahi?
Tall ass pipe must be 33 ft per joint. Makes it hard to latch. I always liked 2 ft above my head.
Where are the rods?
Excellent video.

Stress Belden 😐what does that mean??
Very nice
Thank you sir!!
Sweet video. Can I put this in a presentation?

It is for safety training.... I haven't put the presentation together yet. I can tell that this is an experienced crew. The video is really well done!
what happens when derrick misses the latch on pipe?
Oil Rig Jobs , seriously? Why do you call yourself "Oil Rig Jobs"????

Wish i could take video of our rigs at work, we would be fired, if we took any video.

Rough necks way to slow on those elevators
? Can’t be that slow pipe got in them how much faster do u go ?
They aren't roughnecks.... Roughnecks work on drilling rigs, these are pulling unit hands...
