Unbelievable how they maintain such bouncy movements and high fidelity across all CGI, they either have alien AI animation pipeline, or a production line with 3000 underaged workers dedicated to manual keyframes
They will certaintly use all the money from Honkai Star Rail, Genshin and Honkai impact 3rd all together.

The game reminds me of some of what tower fantasy was TRYING to do, but failed because their team don't have the passion and pride like hoyo. This gameplay is fire

miHoYo does reference in all of their games, it started with Houkai Gakuen, and Houkai3rd makes references from Houkai Gakuen, but are not canon lore wise, just as Su from Houkai3rd uses the name Sumeru for the Seed of Sumeru and later Genshin made the same and their connection turned out to not be canon. Get used to it, kid 🤣

I normally don't like squash and stretch on animations because it looks like a cheap excuse for animatiors to make scenes interesting (Overwatch does this to the extreme), but eastern animators seem to make it work well, don't know why... Maybe because they focus on giving impact to the scenes?

Spectacular animations and cutscenes aside, is that it? Is that the boss fight? The combat isn't even limited by a stamina system like in Genshin, so why is the boss less threatening than a lawachurl? It's so slow and docile. All the hype in the cutscenes and the actual fight itself is just the boss poking the player every 10 seconds
You gotta realize this is just a beta, the boss might be stronger in the final release
1:07 - 1:11 -- "Not so fast!"? "Behave yourself!"? Who wrote this particular cutscene, a _daycare-owner?_ The director _better_ mute _both_ those lines out, in the _final game,_ or else.
This is going to be another masterpiece from the best developers at this point.

Its the same with Genshin and other bosses from Mihoyi games, when its on story mode for some reason they are just becoming fodder slow but when on the remain domains they unleash their true power

- YET, As I expected, MHY is all about MONEY again. They want to attract the Casual to make more MONEY and that is why They Design this Boss slow like a Turtle and and literally a punching bag.
P.s: I haven't seen the endgame of ZZZ so dunno if this Boss is furious and agile, thus harder to fight in that mode. It will be HILARIOUS if the boss in Endgame just has MORE HP pool or RES like Genshin's Abyss😂😂😂.
It is just a regular early story boss tbf. We'll see how they handle endgame challenges, I'm also worried we're gonna get a lot of punching bag enemies like in HI3
Let's give it the chance since this might be like a first boss in story, remember Muzzle in PGR? No, nobody remembers Muzzle but the later bosses are really memorable.

Ngl, for a game that's supposed to be a Roguelike, it's kinda worrying that combat looks this easy.
And no, for the people who'll defend saying Mihoyo always targets Casuals, if that's the case, then why make a Roguelike in the first place?
Roguelikes are supposed to be complex combat with difficult enemies. I've barely even seen anyone incorporate any parries into their fights yet...
The one of the few genres where "Casual gaming" just doesn't work as well... But it seems like Hoyo is just intent on making this another Waifu collector with a side of Roguelike...

You know they can add hard content outside of story, story is made for casual people then maybe there's another similar to swarm disaster where your skill is actually being tested (or just have Jingliu and win)
Well hoyo target casual is true though, because most their player are casual, enjoying the game for casual mean easy yet satisfying, collecting character then build them and story like some "fans" Say if u dont play for story then why bother playing
the game have another mode which have the core roguelike elements
the boss in those mode do a 1 hit damage so you will always have to get perfect parry
they can add difficulty option for bossfight in the story like honkai impact
