I've tried making 360° mandelbrot videos before it didn't look too good because of how I projected it. This projection gets rid of all the issues I had and it also gives a nice view on the top.

I have to say, looking "up" while falling into a Mandelbrot was a lot more interesting than looking down, not because it was more interesting, but because I've never seen that type of view before, I wonder if this view could be achieved without a 360 video?
