The American problem is the insane cost of a single quadcopter. For smallest drones they gave to Ukraine are not quadcopters but use a helicopter layout. It's much harder to do the code for such a drone. But even with the help of backend software, it's harder to pilot those. It should be easy for the operator to learn how to use it. It isn't. Also, this smallest drone costs $50k. That's absurd. When it comes to future fights the US should place more emphasis on underground tactics. Trenches as well.
If they "Need" it to end next year then they should end it this year by withdrawing their forces and save themselves time, energy, manpower and resources.

Europe alone will not be able to fully supply Ukraine in 2025. There are some members like Turkey and Greece. Both have insane volumes of 155mm shells, missiles and Leopard 2 tanks. But they keep those for a fight between them.
Putin has to wait for the US election. If his buddy Donald wins, there'll be pressure applied to Ukraine to accept a ceasefire that allows Russia to keep currently occupied territories.
