Salisbury Police Department releases video of Lt. Brooks' heroic rescue. We thank this Class of 2000, Blue Bear alumnus and former student athlete, for consistently answering the call of servant leadership. Lieutenant Corey Brooks was responding to another incident when he encountered the flames from the wrecked rig. Without hesitation, he sprang into action to remove the unconscious driver from the truck before it exploded. Lt. Brooks is a campus favorite of students, faculty, and staff, and the valiant footage demonstrates all that is THEE Blue Bear spirit. Livingstone College salute Lt. Corey Brooks for his bravery🖤💙
