frogs, contrary to snails, aren't widely eaten in France though. Sometimes I feel like most of the frogs eaten in France each year are eaten by foreigner wanting to try "french cuisine" by trying that, rather than French themselves.
Foie Gras is even more french than snails 😂, and for some other nice french food ideas, you also have the frog, the "steak tartare", oysters, mussels, "choucroutte", cheese as Camembert, and a lot of pastries if you wanna please them 😂

Actually It's not a dish that french people eat anymore (they used to eat it), but for tourists it remains a classical french dish, so yeah, new french restaurants (with an actual menu) will not propose frog legs, but if you go to restaurants mainly focused on tourist costumers, there you'll be able to try this dish!

it's tasty though. They're longly washed and prepared beforehand, and usually those eaten are raised in snail farms so defintiely not the random snail that you see outside, it's not like you take a snail you see and put it in your mouth.
