THE BOONDOCK SAINTS 3 Happening With Original Cast, Filming Starts May 2022 (Movie News)

News is coming out of AFM 2021 (American Film Market) and the first major news to come out is the announcement of The Boondock Saints 3. Troy Duffy is back as Writer/Director with Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flannery coming back as the Main Stars/Executive Producers. Is this good news or has too much time passed between All Saints Day and now?

I’ve only seen the first boondock saints movie
Overall I remember liking it but I havn’t seen it in a while I will say it’s better than way of the gun (which I may need to rewatch)
I havn’t seen the second one it’s kind of surreal that the third one is announced
This could be because the walking dead is wrapping up production I honestly have no interest in the walking dead as a fan of zombie films and exploitation it honestly seems like the show took itself way too seriously (mainly because they want to compete with breaking bad but it worked with breaking bad becasue to my knowledge breaking bad is a character study esque show)
Overall a third boondocks saints film conflicts me but I’ll remain cautiously open minded

I agree with you on The Walking Dead. I stopped watching that show after I got about mid-way through Season 6 because I realized that this show is going nowhere. There was a knockoff of The Walking Dead on The SYFY Network called Z Nation (I don't know if you remember that). Basically, the premise was someone knew the cure for the Zombie Outbreak, so they had to get that person from California to the CDC in Washington DC alive. That show lasted 5 Seasons. It was done after 5 Seasons. 5 Seasons of The Walking Dead was still find new place to live, create enemy, enemy destroys place to live, rinse and repeat.
I even said it in the video that this movie is probably happening because Norman Reedus is finally freed up from The Walking Dead. I will say that the second Boondock Saints Movie is pretty good. I know most people prefer the first one, but the second movie wasn't terrible

I mean madmen breaking bad and the walking dead have been their darlings for a while I know better call Saul exists but that show to my knowledge is also ending soon

James, I can't really answer that question because I haven't watched AMC in years. I haven't had cable since 2016, so I can't really tell you. Also, I've heard that Better Call Saul is nearing the end of its run. If it hasn't already, it probably should knowing that it has now gone on longer than the original Breaking Bad. I do know that Sony made a sequel movie to Breaking Bad called El Camino (it's exclusive to Netflix). I don't know if you've seen it, but it's the epilogue to Breaking Bad if you were a fan of that show

Boondock Saints was good, part 2 kind of sucked so let's hope 3 is the Irish charm
