- The Dutch style of Kickboxing is well known for its use of high volume, power low kicks. What is not commonly as known though is how coaches and fighters from the Netherlands use variations of these kicks, dependent on the angle they enter with or choose to exit off.

To be honest, Dutch style low kicks resemble more like karate kicks instead of muay thai kicks. Then who do some people still call it 'Dutch Muay Thai' instead of Dutch Kickboxing?
Because most people are casuals. They think everything that involves punch kick combinations is Muay Thai. Due to what they're being fed. You're right Dutch Kickboxing derives from Kyokushin Karate, mixed in with western boxing.
@@kesenaememere8520Only the middle kick and the front kick in Dutch Kickboxing are adopted from Muay Thai. The low kicks, knee strikes and high kicks are adopted from Kyokushin. And the punching techniques are a mix of karate and boxing.
Edit: I forgot to include that the spinning back fist and flying knee strikes were adopted from Muay Thai, while most of the standing knee strikes were adopted from a karate technique called 'Hiza Geri'.
where in America can I find a dutch style school?
I like to think that every style, in this case Kickboxing, has its basic structures and principles. Analyze Glory fights or watch instructional videos like these and incorporate them in your training, and there you go, you got the Dutch style
