Well here's my Sylosis Cover! TERAS!
Well fuck. My hand hurts.
I broke away from the usual writing and stuff so I could have a bit fun and record a cover for a change. HERE YOU GO ENJOY MY WRIST HURTS AND I BROKE MY GUITAR.

I'm late to the party but man this is epic. Amazingly smooth playing. Ive started working on "After Lifeless Years" Been playing guitar for around 15 years, and its a CHALLENGE! I have the BPM's slowed way down to try and get it smooth and working my way up to speed. Great work man!

Now with all this crap about guitarists speeding up their playing in vids. When I saw this video the first time years ago I had my suspicions about it and had to re watch this now again, and there are definitely sped up parts, can you confirm @PirateCrab ?

Sorry mate, no sped up parts! Just a really shoddy camera I owned at the time that makes it look janky. I don't gain any satisfaction in lieing about what I can play.

@@DaxterZA No apology needed, I take it as a compliment that you think this is sped up ha! I have other vids on here which I think showcase what I can play accurately that don't look sped up, my 'Under a Glass Moon' cover being one of them.
I don't think I'll be doing many straight covers now honestly, let alone redoing them. I do a lot more work on producing full remixes and find it much more satisfying! :) There are exceptions to this though, like at some point I want to cover something by Jason Richardson for a proper challenge!

I think you're talking about the sweep part, but the giveaways to me that this is not sped up are his facial expressions and the strings moving around in the air. That all looks very natural to me, the best explanation for it is his hands are just absolutely fucking flying while the older camera's frame rate can't keep up.
More to the point for me though, other than the sweep picking - the bass follows the guitar in this song and it's not that hard to play, and PirateCrab can definitely play 🤘
