5 years of love, money, sweat, and tears devoted to this. What a great job! Although not a certified ‘GTA’, I like that Bob gave a nod to the model and got & developed what he wanted. The chrome just sets the whole car off. What a fun presentation! Thanks Lou & Bob for a great spring morning treat!
Please remember to watch the commercials at the beginning of the video (or at least the ones you can), as that's how I get paid so I can keep sharing with you :-)
You can definitely tell this was a labor of love for Bob, and the end results look & sound fantastic! Thanks for taking us along for the ride on what looked like a great day to enjoy it, Lou.
Hi TheGunfighter45acp, "this was a labor of love for Bob, and the end results look & sound fantastic!" I agree. Glad to take you along for the ride, and you're welcome, Lou
Now THAT’S a true pony car! ‘67 my absolute favorite design. I briefly owned a ‘67 Cougar XR7. It was beautiful WITH sequential rear turn signals! Unfortunately, the cooling system made it a lemon. Three water pumps, a new radiator and stranded 100+ miles from home twice, and I finally gave up on it. The only thing I added was a glass-pack exhaust that sounded pretty much like this Mustang... docile when idling, nice burble when slowly accelerating, but roared under full power. I’d give anything to still have it, though! Cheers, John from Ohio Edit: BTW, no ads appeared in this video, Lou. FYI.
Hi John, High praise for this Pony Car :-) Glad to read this one brings back memories of your Cougar. Hmmm, wonder why no ads. Thank you for letting me know. Cheers, Lou
@@loucostabile: Yeah... and I reloaded and restarted it a couple more times to see if YT was just late putting them in. As this video will likely be one of your most viewed (Mustangs rule!), you might want to look into that. Might be costing you $’s! Cheers!

Isn't it amazing, Bob said that it took him 5 years to restore this beautiful Mustang! What a dedicated and persistent person he is!
Another great video Lou. Always loved Mustangs. When I was in automechanic school 10 years ago my instructor had bought a red 1969 Mach 1 Mustang that had been sitting for 5 or 10 years and I got to be the one to work on it and get it running for him. I didn't get to drive it though. Only time I ever got to work on a 351 Cleveland.
Wow amazing mustang GTA tribute it almost looks and feel sheby like beautiful car the engine looks like a hi po 289 Ford did a fantastic job with the mustang 😁😁
That was great of Ford to retain that T-handle shifter. Oldsmobile made the mistake of doing away with theirs in '67. That color combination looks great. I always thought that a red exterior combined with a white interior was the ultimate. However, after looking at this example, I'm now not so sure
Wow Lou that was just a gorgeous project Mustang. I sure enjoyed this video a lot. Loved the owner too and his love of his special unit. I loved the chrome the red interior and red exterior as well. Just a very neat fun video and loved the ride along as well! Thanks for sharing as always Lou!

He did a fantastic job!! It's better that new. That steering wheel hub is a classic case of the federal government mandating faster that car makers could keep up. The fed's mandated padded steering wheels for 1967. Ford didn't have time to design anything so they just stuck that hub on all their cars. The 68's were a little more integrated.
