One of my favs from your old channel! Thx for the reupload. Love Goodman's reasoning (and Elgin's too, by the way). "Ways of Worldmaking" is one of the best books I've ever read.
This is an important VLOG. It helps us to understand the deficiencies which existed in the 1st part of Wittgenstein's treatises, which focused on promoting the pictorial theory of language and philosophy.
Yeah, guilty pleasure listening to this interview. I really like Mr Goodman's thinking and I must be suffering from 'confirmation bias' LOL... It was the late Charles Harrison that got me interested in art as he wrote some course material I studied. I went on to read his books to in Art and Language and the Conceptual Art movement in general and have not lost interest yet!
I've only just listened to the introduction and already I want to read his books! Thank you for this upload it sounds interesting.

Noam Chomsky brought me here
Iff schreckliche Einleitung abgehackt und nicht zu zu verstehen... aber schon Goodman sprechen zu hören
It's a pity that Goodman is so quickly reduced to this small logical wordplay when he had so much else of value to say!
How is that a pity?
