Nice. I bought my First Blood figure in tarp about 2 years ago. I knew it was getting harder to find as the years go by and paid a little bit more than when it was new as it was the last day of a con and the guy who sold it to me dropped his price enough for me to justify it. I contemplated whether or not to open it and display it with my other NECA figures (Dutch, Predator, Hicks, Hudson and so forth.) In the end, I gave in and did it as I know deep down, these in particular figures are better served posed. He looks good going against a Predator figure and along side Dutch as well.
This is an excellent looking figure. I love the detail and sculpting overall despite the limited articulation. I have to say Rambo "First Blood" was probably my favorite movie out the series. Thanks for the great review.
A part of me wishes Hasbro would've joined forces with Coleco to bring Rambo into GI Joe, but then again the Joes would be out of work pretty quickly and the Cobras would need a REALLY good supply of body bags!
Actually the Rambo artwork on the lower right corner apparently has a variant because the carded figure I have uses the version of the artwork that the NECA ones use.
When i was 12 my dad bought me the legit rambo replica knife at a flea market on my Birthday. My mom goes, you bought him whattt! Playing with rambo toys upped my testosterone as a child and made me the toxic masculine alpha male i am today. P.s i still got the knife...gonna gift it to my boy at 12.
Call me crazy but I'm positive the artwork is not new. I'm only going by memory but that profile card is burned in my memory and the "new" artwork is the one that I'm a 100% sure was the same artwork shown in the profile card of my own figure from back in the 80s. Maybe this was due to a running change, or maybe I had an international version. Great review, and very soothing. Great to see the NECA figure riding the jeep from Force of Freedom. Also, nice choice of music.
Talk to me Johnny 🎙getting him in position may take a bit of work but when you do I think it looks really good 👍excellent review once again Michael thanks for sharing. Don't push it or I'll give you a war you won't believe 💥💥💥
sadly he looks like he's wearing a nappy the whole hip/groin section is too bulky, reminds me of stallone in Copland where he put a ton of weight on, great review though mate

Love the explosion 💥 and machine gun effects you use in your videos! Awesomeness! 👌
He looks more like Al Pacino in Scarface than Rambo/Stallone.

Mine too (so far). Going to see Last Blood tonight so we'll see how it stacks up to the original.
I've got the other version of this (the First Blood part 2 one). Except I kept it in the box. Thanks for the Rambo love!
You must be an amazing repair man to fix all the damage that gets done during these videos before the next one begins.

40k subscribers. Congratulations Michael. You have a beautiful channel. So relaxed and calming to watch.
Thanks Robin! Quite an honor! :D
Keep him away from the other figures in the 80's toy museum. If they don't treat him well and draw first blood they will be trouble.

We need to get one of these to Tony!
Hi Micheal your my favorite u tune channel! Is your channel going to be able to survive with the changes coming in January??
I know what you’re saying, I’m afraid to touch my older Neca figures, already broke my Predator AVP head just for picking him up 😭
Nice video as a always. 😊
To survive the war...be the war !!
Want one!

That hip isn’t right. That’s gotta be a manufacturing defect.
