    | Viktor Evgenyevich Poletaev (Russian: Виктор Евгеньевич Полетаев) (born 27 July 1995) is a Russian volleyball player. He is a member of the Russia men's national volleyball team and Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg.
    National team
    In 2012-2013 he was a member of Russia men's national volleyball team U19. In 2013 he won with this team his first medal at European Championship U19 and he received individual award for Most Valuable Player. Then he achieved second success, a title of World Champion U19 and he was Best Opposite Spiker. In the same year he went to team Russia U21, where as 18 year old player achieved gold at World Championship U21 and title of Most valuable Player. In 2014 gained title of European Champion U21. In 2015 Poletaev went to senior team of Russia and took part in first senior tournament in his career - European Games 2015. He won with team mates bronze medal.

      @@nazarenoorefice2104 true, poletaev is better than Nishida, but Nishida is still 21 years old, and he is almost 5 years younger than Poletaev. Nishida could still develop further. And there is also news that 2 clubs from Italy are interested in Nishida, namely Padova and Tonno Callipo 🔥🔥🔥

      @Rimzen nope, nishida recently said that his peak reach is 350 cm
      Hes 187 cm tall victor is what?195? He's huge , and has a longer arm, which makes up for his reach, he doesn't Jump as high as nishida , nor was ever awarded the best opposite like nishida at 2019, do the research fanboy lmao

      @Rimzen Reach is not calculated in such a simple way, reach consists of height, reach jump and arm reach. The taller you are, the proportionally longer your arms usually are. Don't take me wrong, I still think Poletaev has a bigger jump than Nishida and in every other aspect is a better player.

      @@wellactually21 As if this individual award had any meaning, apart from the fact that he got it primarily because the tournament was played in Japan. The Russians cared so little about the World Cup that they sent their 3rd team there. Do the research fanboy.
