It's very unprofessional for Farage's "good friend" to interview Ben. The same goes for Reform's policy advisor to Tice, Alex Phillips. For goodness sake find someone who neutral.
Anyway James, so what if it's damaging for Reform? He's just told you he tried talking to Farage in private to no avail so why shouldn't he go public? Why shouldn't we know what's going on within the party? Are you worried the public trust Ben Habib and not your "good friend"? Grow up, Ben is entitled to leave and criticise the party.

A lot of people are forgetting that Ben was a very consistent Member and Donor to the Conservative Party for many years. Every time Reform has begun to do well up crops Ben to try and undermine it.
Now with the petition doing so well he is acting as if he wants to split the Central/Right vote. And given the amount of people on-line claiming they will NOT now vote Reform due entirely to Ben it appears to work. The man is just undermining everything and splitting the vote.

Like many others I recognise Ben Habib as a TRUE gentleman. His comments are to me always, always, sound, intelligent and thought-provoking.
While I have applauded Nigel Farage for a decade I find that lately he is repeatedly disappointing me. To be honest, I am losing trust in him. However, apart from political considerations I found his remarks about Ben deeply offensive. They clearly displayed a lack of politeness and an ugly lack of gratitude for Ben's sterling work.

Nigel would be well advised to listen to what is being said here. It has been a rollercoaster, no doubt. But Ben is right in what he is saying. No doubt Ben is both hurt on principle and personally by perceiving a lack of interest in his views within the party. Ben is one of the few people in this country that could lead alongside Nigel. This is not for Ben to make a change. This is for Nigel to make a change and show a conciliatory side, that he will support his supporters of which very few will doubt that Ben is one of those. Hopefully it will all work out in the end.
