Ian I'm not a fisherman but I love watching your videos as I find them very therapeutic , and I also love your energy and dedication to your love of fishing and showing professionalism and care in what you do , and I feel very blessed to know you too , keep up the good work.....and a very nice pike sir 👍 .
I'm a river Nene angler and although I've caught pike up to 7lbs or so on lures,I've never fished for them on the river with dead baits. I'm determined that will change this winter and this video has gone someway to inspire me. More river piking videos please . 👍😁👍
Thanks for watching my video, I also love using smelt, I have noticed a similarity in scent which as people say is reminiscent of fresh cucumber. My favourite bait of all is a sprat and I love a live bait. Tight lines and stay safe
Straight back at you to show our love and smash your like button very interesting video my friend thanks for sharing love watching people fish and when they catch something it’s amazing love the glasses lol can you eat pike my friend what a good tip hanging the grass over the line take care and what a awesome job you did brilliant hope to see you again like from us 👍
Thanks very much indeed! I am Tom mini coopers dad, he sends me to your channel! You make some real good dishes. You can eat pike but it’s not something people do these days. I couldn’t kill one, they are too precious to me, I love watching them swim away strong to fight another day. Have a great summer and I hope you are keeping safe in these hard times pal.
Wow great awesome vid and also I enjoy fishing as well I also did just a little bit of fishing in Turkey last summer at the Mediterranean , I used bread bait I caught 2 of same fish species but I didn’t know what it was , it wasn’t that big , it was spiky and it was brown colour. Very interesting fish I also want to fish at sea I live near the coast of the North Sea and want to get cod
I've been watching your excellent videos over the last couple of nights . I'm only up the Rd in Blackpool and looking to fish the Ribble this on day ticket stretches for Barbel & Chub . Would you mind if I ask , 1 : The stretch in this video , is it upstream of the M6 and can it be fished on a ticket from the garage at Tickle Trout ? 2 : How is access gained to this stretch , where can I park nearby 3 : I want to buy a couple of dedicated Barbel/Chub rods but don't want to spend a fortune . I'm looking at the KORUM 12 ft 1.75lb . Would these be suitable , I don't want to fish with a poker . Thanks in advance . Keep the great videos coming . Subbed .
Many thanks for watching my videos, I really appreciate it! I was on a private club stretch but the Ribble can be fished from the opposite side on a Day Ticket purchased at the Tickled Trout Service Station, just ask the cashier at the garage. £6 for a day which includes parking. You can find the better pegs which are the upper most pegs situated a short drive up the a59 towards Blackburn. This is called Gregsons farm. As you drive away from the garage towards samlesbury…. You get on the bypass after about 300 yards there’s a turning on your left it’s very difficult to see so watch out. It’s a minor farm track which takes you down to a farm house. Park to the left or right and the best pegs are to the left of the house. It fished very well after a flood and is dropping off. You can only fish up to 1 hour past sunset at the farm but if you fish near the garage where you bought the ticket then you can carry in into darkness. The map is in the rear of the ticket with the rules etc. i can recommend the following rods for barbel/chub,If you like a rod that is not too stiff and a good all rounder I can recommend these top three rods from my Amazon affiliate site, if you make a purchase it will mean I get a bit of commission to help support the channel at no cost to you: I have listed these three as like you, I love a strong but flexible rod that can be transferable when fishing for multi species yet can handle hard fighting barbel. Again , another great video , excellent camera work , never fished lamprey because of its scaresty , great fish always found river pike fitter than Stillwater , how about getting together with Gary for a ribble carp ????
Superb video Cooper, Then look channel is great and it's clear that you have put allot of time & effort into it. I didn't know the small differance between Lamprey & Eel until i saw your vlog so thanks for that. I loved the way this vlog just panned out perfectly with those two Pike coming to sit in your swim, it also reminded me of your old video when you caught that stunning 25lb Ribble Pike (which i've watched again today) did you get any photo's of that special fish? All the best : )
Thanks very much pal and yes I did get a photo or two but not too good a picture, I managed to get some screenshots of the fish and I have footage I haven’t revealed. I may put that unseen footage on a future video. Thanks again for watching and supporting the channel. It means a lot

@@PikerBiker no worries buddy. Yeah they both have a distinct odour. Live bait where allowed is always my preferred option too.
