Love your videos. I say the same thing but I do them so my grands and kids can always go back and hear my voice see me and see the things I love to create. I teach my grands to sew but they are will to try something once but not so much to continue so by doing tutorials they can go back and remember me teaching them. We just celebrated our 40th anniversary. I feel sew blessed.
Just love your ideas. You have a amazing way of coming up with neat projects and displays. Thank you for sharing God's word. I think it is very important everyday to get into God's Word and Pray, Pray and Pray more. Why keep it to yourself, share what God has done and express the joy to others. You may never know just how much just a encouraging word from God may open the door of hope for them. Everyday I say "I choose Joy nevertheless". 😊 Thank you for those words. Have a great week. 🙏❤🙏❤
Thank you for sharing your beautiful finishes; I love them. I truly appreciate your Christian witness; as Christians we need to be in prayer for the revival and return of our country to our Savior, our Lord. I share your concerns for our country and the many who are lost souls and don’t even realize it; the devil is working so hard to deceive so many, it is heartbreaking. Thanks again for sharing and I pray blessings upon you for standing in the faith……………………
Bonnie, my sister in Christ and stitching soul sister.... you have been enduring the same heaviness and hopelessness that depression causes, how well I know this place... and you are right... turn your eyes upon Jesus... look full in his wonderous face,,,this song came right to mind as you were sharing the verses.. and I will have to take counsel from your counsel and thanks so much for sharing....You absolutely need to move to North Carolina or closer to me...!!! You are always in my prayers.. ((HUGS))
Bonnie Joy! I believe that your message today was meant for a friend of mine. He suffers with depression and is an amazing Christian. I will be sharing with him what your Pastor told you to do. I so enjoy listening to you and seeing what you’re working on but….my favorite part is where you share your heart and Jesus with us. I have also discovered that your crafting “loves” match mine perfectly. God bless you and your husband. Beverly
Oh Beverly! Thank you for your support and love! Yes, depression is at a high right now with sooo many people and continues to get worse as our nation continues in a free fall and taking God out of every imaginable place. But we will continue to hope and pray and hold on to our true hope in Christ our solid rock! I’m glad my challenges can help others….that’s why I share them…I know I am not alone in my emotions and I want to help those who are struggling.
Bonnie....Thank you for the wonderful stitching inspiration! Next trip to hobby lobby I will be purchasing some stitchy boxes to make. God is good! Happy stitching!🌰🍂🧵
Hi Bonnie! Your stitching box turned out to be a beautiful treasure! Thanks for all you share -- it means a lot! Hard times and choices indeed. I know we were told life wouldn't be easy, but man, some days! It's all worth it though, and I know our Father in Heaven has us safe and secure eternally. Take care sweet friend and enjoy all you create.
I absolutely fell in love with this and knew my BFF would love it so I copied your idea in fabrics she would love. Thank you for sharing your wonderful projects!
Thank you so much for your testimony today. It was just what I needed! I don't have a "good" church in my area, so Calvary Chapel Chino Hills is my church. I love Pastor Jack. You are very bad for my pocketbook, however. I want to make all the things you have shown. Your "not tutorials" are great. I was heartbroken at the results of the recall election in California. Looks like the same shenanigans were in play there as in the 2020 election. BUT GOD...
But God! Yes! I was just listening to the daily reading on OUR church app (I’m so glad are part of our church!) for Monday Sept 20th and the reading in Daniel and Psalms was perfect. With the growing loss of religious freedom and the godless policies coming our way, I have often thought of the testimony during courage of Daniel and have been asking God to give me that courage ! I’ve also been sag with my new goal of Stitch Whatcha Got. I keep looking at all the lovely supplies I have and try to focus on those instead of what I don’t have….
Bonnie your videos are a stitching pressie of inspiration. You have a natural gift with color selection. The itty bitty teeny tiny (BE) sewing book is adorable beyond words. I am watching all your videos from the beginning. With all sincerity, “thank you” for sharing your talents with us. 🪡❤️🎉
Love all of your work! You are so inspiring! I watched your floss tube #3 to check out your stitching setup and I loved it! I now own the lap desk, light and pattern holder and it’s working out beautifully! Thank you and I’m so happy I found your channel!
I really enjoyed your box project; what a lovely result. It gives me some ideas for things I might do for my sewing room or stitching chair. And there are so many nice motifs on samplers it would be really nice to use them for practical purposes. I have a small house so limited wall space but there's always a need for storing all the bits and bobs of stitching or quilting projects. Thank you for sharing your spiritual thoughts on some Scripture. There are times when I need more insight into a passage and so I turn to a software tool called eSword. It's free to download and contains numerous commentaries and numerous translations of which a couple have Strongs annotations so a person can see the word translation. There are also a couple of tools such as a personal notes feature which I have not yet utilized for keeping my thoughts or prayers written down but think I will begin doing so. There are other study helps and tools but this one I found to be the most helpful. Now, as a new subscriber, it appears I have a lot to catch up on. Thank you for sharing so very much. We all get into these doldrums and down moods but if we keep our focus on God, the other stuff doesn't seem so tough to deal with. I have quick chats with Him fairly often through the day just like I would with a co-worker or a housemate (whether roommate or family). It really does lighten the burden on my heart. Taking a little walk and praying the whole while out is also good for body and soul.
I’m so glad you’re in my stitching family! Yes, lots of videos to catch up on and get inspired-I hope! We need to keep our eyes on our Lord. I hadn’t heard of eSword. Thanks for the idea! I have been having fun finding unique ways to use my cross stitch finishes. It takes it to a new level with various hobbies to choose from
I’ve been watching Pastor Jack Hibbs since 2018. I met him at Jan Markel’s Understanding the Times conference and I’ve been a follower ever since. He’s brought comfort to me these past 2 years, he and Amir Tsarfati, this world needs more pastors like them. Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects and your heart. I haven’t watched TV in 9 years but I have a list of UA-cam channels I enjoy and I’m thankful you’re one of them. God bless you, Bonnie, and you’re welcome to move to Indiana anytime, we’d love to have you!
Renee, I’m thrilled you’ve been following these wonderful, godly, bold leaders who speak truth in love. I needed some encouragement this week and rewatched a service we had with Eric Metaxes about Bonfoeffer. I added it to my Calvary Chapel playlist. I’m going to rewatch the one on Socialism that is there on my playlist as well. Makes me smile to know you’re in my stitching family! Stitching and praying!
@@logcabinstitcher7274 I remember that episode, and I bought Eric Metaxas book, Bonhoeffer! I’m glad you mentioned that, I’ll revisit both! Happy stitching! 🙏🏼
Enjoyed visiting with you today and seeing all your beautiful projects I love the stitching box it’s beautiful 🤩 and all the tiny goodies inside. Thank you for sharing your talent with us and your prayers you are a blessing. Have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thanks so much for your message today. I also loved the stitching and have ordered a card box. Love the use of old keys. I have some from my grandmother's and am excited to use them where they can be seen and enjoyed.
I’m so glad I could inspire you to make something fun with your box. I’ve got a round one that I started a small project for today a hope to have a finish next Flosstube visit.
Love your videos, your room, your projects, Your stitching. I really like your style. Thanks for sharing. You are fun because you enjoy it so much. It's how I feel about the things I do. It makes us happy. Happy stitching.
Thank youBonnie!! Love love your cross stitch; but your shared faith is even more beautiful! In my Bible study recently, memorization of scripture has been impressed on me. What you shared today, reinforces that. This is a hard concept for me. I can & do retain memorized passages for a time, it seems that if I move on to different passages, I forget a lot of the previous ones. This is frustrating for me. Maybe I am too focused on memorizing word for word rather than concepts. However, I do not want to add or subtract anything from God’s Word. But you have reinforced for me the importance of memorizing scripture. I think that God has spoken through you! Thank you!
Sylvia, I’m so glad God used me to help reinforce memorization of His Word for you. I have found having a spiral notebook in my bathroom with verses so helpful so I can work on them while I’m getting ready in the morning.
I have watched this video twice and enjoyed it tremendously! You make me smile with your enthusiasm for stitching and for God's Word. Thank you for shining your light! I'm going to Hobby Lobby to buy a box. I don't know what I'll do with it, but I'm sure I need it! 😁 I have a ton of small patterns that will be a beautiful topping for a pretty keepsake. God bless you!
You are so darling! I’m sure you’re gunna find the perfect project to make your stitching box! It’s so fun to let your imagination go with these fun things. I’m so glad you’re part of my stitching family, and enjoyed my video so much…you are a treasure!
I absolutely love the little sewing box!!! It’s perfect. I’m going to make a trip to Hobby Lobby next week!! It’s really helpful to stay busy with the creative minds God has blessed us with. The sadness is always in the background but I continue to work on projects, especially gifts. I am planning on moving to a different state early next year, depending on if there are more intense restrictions.( I’m really praying about this) My comfort, peace and surprising calmness comes from reading the gospel, remembering verses and telling others. My sister is struggling so much and I talk to her every day. You help me so much to keep focused on the important things. Your handwork and your faith are a perfect combination. God bless you and your husband making difficult decisions. God is always near.
Oh, Sara. It is such a hard time right now. I’m glad you’re staying in touch with your sister. It so important to stay connected with those we can support, but also those who lift us up and help us gather the information and strength we need to make wise decisions and stay functional. CA has never experienced this mass exodus before in our history. We are really taking time to see what is best for us during this tumultuous time. So glad I have this sweet stitching community!
Get some Vintage Textile soak, it should take it out. The only thing is it could make the whole outfit too white for your taste. It’s not bleach but it’s a wonder worker as I us3 it on antique quilts and I’m amazed at the real colors when I’m done. Love your creativity. Yes! Put our eyes on the Lord! He is our help and strength a very present help in trouble. If the Lord is for us who can be against us? I have noticed that this year so many Christians are going through trials, yes, trails. I’ve named this year “Do you still trust Me?” I do believe that the Lord is refining His own as He is putting us through one fire after another. If we keep our eyes on Him we should all end up shining gold. Remember it’s not up to us, we can cry out,”Lord I believe, help my unbelief.” Praying for your peace.
Oh Bonnie your stitching box is fantastic!! I could spend all my sewing time making little fun notion things like that!!!!!!You did a beautiful job and I’m so inspired! Thank you too for your encouragement at the end you always give such hope!!!!
I love your boxes!! I actually bought one of those card boxes a while back and haven’t done anything with it yet!!! 🧡🧡🧡 I always watch your videos to the very end! I’m so sorry things in CA are so terrible. We were praying that your governor would be recalled. I don’t know how long we will remain in NV. Our three kids are here though.🙏🏻❤️
Yes, we were praying the recall would end differently. Pastor Jack was saying in his sermon this morning that so many people are coming up and talking to him about leaving CA. He said it’s only a matter of time till other states have the same problems, because they are stemming from the federal government…. Some states have very strong governors….for now…..We are praying for direction, provision and protection and for our precious nation! And stitching on!
Love the card box you turned into a stitching box. The tiny needle book is just beautiful!! I've stitched quite a few things from the Ooh La La book. I just finished the Crow from Winds of Autumn. You're so right about the colors! I want to make it into the strawberry but...I didn't stitch it in the middle of my linen. I also stitched it on 46ct . I think I will need to make the pattern smaller. Did you make the Angel behind you on the shelf.? You're so right about the world. I worry about my four grandchildren growing up not having the freedoms you and I grew up with.
Thank you! No, a fellow-crafting friend of mine made it many years ago. I actually have a video from last year where I talk about all the treasures behind me. It’s Flosstube #8 part 2. I do cherish that angel…. It’s made out of an old handkerchief
Thank you Bonnie! The "good stuff" is the best stuff and so uplifting. All of your projects are so pretty! I was thinking the narrow box would be good for holding my bamboo sock dpn needles! You are such a wonderful blessing. I am enjoying the sampler bag #2 very much!!!
Hi Bonnie! I have 2, 3 or 6 (lol) of those playing card boxes from Hobby Lobby so GREAT idea!!! I have a cabinet full of unfinished wood boxes to use for cross stitch finishes. I’m a little obsessed I guess. I just made the BBD Spring Song & put it on the HL jewelry box as the book instructed. I’ll email a picture to you, I LOVE IT 🥰. Thank you for yet another idea 🍁🧡
Oh, Sheila, I’d love to see what you created with your boxes…I do have a few of them, also. I e got a round one and a larger jewelry box to make a project box with little cubbies. So fun to let my mind wander to the bright side of stitching rather than the madness of life.
If you decide to move, we would love to have you become a Texan. The cost of living is less than In California and Texans are generally more conservative. It is a stressful time now.
I’ve had several like-minded friends move to Texas…and then there’s the darling Celeste @Celeste Creates in Texas who has invited me out for a visit. Man, my heart goes out to your devastated border towns. Yes, we have brought up several conservative states as possible future homes. Since I know Colorado from 25 years of visits, that is a consideration as well, even though the state is more liberal…the smaller towns are conservative. Thank you for thinking of me. There is so much to consider right now. We’ve been in our home 34 years, so our property taxes are only $250 a month…for CA that’s super low.
Thank you, Bonnie for sharing your lovely box and, of course, you’ve inspired (not enabled🙄) me to want to do it too - it’s just the sweetest! Also, many thanks for sharing your heart and the GOOD STUFF - which it truly is. As those “Christian Soldiers”, we must March on as the hymn says, as to war. We know the end of the story and we personally know the VICTOR✝️, so hold your head up high with your eyes on Him. Also, sometime, I wonder if you could share about the Valdani threads, how you use them, which weight to use and when, and all things Valdani. If that’s too much, would you please direct me to where I should go to learn? Many thanks and stitchy hugs❤️
I can hear that wonderful hymn being sung in my head…Onward Christian Soldiers….that we sang all the time as a child….God was strengthening us for the war we would face as adults in our case. I’m so glad I have that solid foundation of growing up in a family who pointed me towards my savior and taught me there is much more in life than what we see and feel here on earth! Sure, I can share more on my Valdani pearl cottons. I know I have in the past, but can’t remember which video it was…somewhere back in the fall I think. I have a great box to display them in….of course! And I can share the ways to use them and the needles I do it with…I’ve had requests to show my hand quilting also….something fun to think about….positive daydreaming!
Sure! I’d love to see the pictures. My email is bonnielogcabinstitcher@gmail.com. My husband has a plumbing project right at this moment (we are making a little waterfall in our Pond) and he’s headed to Home Depot. He said he knows what the Tubing is. I bet there are lots of us out there with this broken lamp!
If you search on Pinterest Sheepish Designs Baby Alphabet you will find it. I’m not sure if you have to actually have to have a Pinterest account or if you just search it and can print it. It does say it is a complimentary pattern on the side of it.
Thank you. Just love your videos, especially the "good stuff" . you are so bold with your faith. You say my Jesus, never heard people refer to Jesus that way. Makes me stop and think do I think of him that way, and if not, why not. Blessings to you.

He said it’s only a matter of time till other states have the same problems, because they are stemming from the federal government…. Some states have very strong governors….for now…..We are praying for direction, provision and protection and for our precious nation! And stitching on!
@@logcabinstitcher7274 NV and Las Vegas are going that way also unfortunately.
Hi Bonnie! Love your patterns. Let me know if you wanna get rid of them-I’ll be 1st in line🙏🏻
@@logcabinstitcher7274 I sent an email with the pictures of the box, I’m not on Instagram or Facebook.
It was Pex tubing that he used (the lamp repair), I sent you an email with some pictures of the repair you can share if you want!
Hola bonita!🌸🌺🌸
Hey there! One if my fun nicknames as a kid was Bonita Bizarre.
What the place you said was the free alphabet pattern?
If you search on Pinterest Sheepish Designs Baby Alphabet you will find it. I’m not sure if you have to actually have to have a Pinterest account or if you just search it and can print it. It does say it is a complimentary pattern on the side of it.
Thank you. Just love your videos, especially the "good stuff" . you are so bold with your faith. You say my Jesus, never heard people refer to Jesus that way. Makes me stop and think do I think of him that way, and if not, why not. Blessings to you.
