Nice review. One thing to highlight here is, for this price the ADAS features must be present and BMW should allow the users to enable or disable them. But the reality is, unless we have an advanced environment where everything is consistent eg, the traffic light, proper signs, no unnecessary barricades and road works, disciplined other vehicle drivers and pedestrians, the ADAD feature cant be used at all and will serve no puprpose. In XUV700, its a real bummer and Ranjith I would ask you to watch the on-road practical driving of XUV700 with these ADAS features enabled, its actually really really terrifying. For sure, it will bring in more discomfort and troubles while driving around with these ADAS features enabled.
Adas feature has just been on trend recently and first off all it should not be there coz.people are getting too independent on that feature and they are getting lazy
All car companies don't give all features engine and options in india and doesn't even reduce price (this is not including tax and on normal car too there is lot of tax)
Hello Ranjit, BMW India or any other Car manufacturing Company for that matter are not to be blamed for Not having ADAS based on Radar in India in the past especially In India, the spectrums of 24, 76 and 79 GHz were reserved and regulated by the Department of Telecommunications, restricting manufacturers from equipping their cars with these technologies hence this Omission in Technology The Ministry of Communications and IT delicensed only 76 GHz band
So far, the best review on BMW 330i. I got all the answers I was looking for, like nobody talks about the ground clearance, and now I'm clear about it.
Hi Ranjith, Please don't use Auto Hold with gearbox in Drive. It will heat the Torque convertor crazy. Though ZF8 with BMWs are reliable it will certainly reduce the life. For vv short duration like less than 5 sec stop its fine. Please don't use it when you need to stop for more than 5 seconds. And for DCT, this should be used only in N for DQ200 or better in general. Hope this helps, Thanks Sir.
It does not matter on this one, got it double checked and even check with BMW international forums it it's designed to use used like how I am doing. This is not like the Audi DCT :)
Ranjith , final thing what is said is owning a Tiago brought a smile. Was surprised to know a BMW owner having a car of masses as well. That strikes a right balance of kind of person thinking you are. Many more miles and smiles on your BMW. All the best.
Also ditch the Runflats and get Michelin PS4's. You won't be able to recognize the car. The difference in ride is night and day. No impact on warranty.
sir 330i m sport is at 60L on-road and 330li msport(gran limousine) is at 64.63L on road. 330li m sport has longer wheelbase hence better rear seats, panaromic sunroof, HUD, 360degree camera, different alloy wheels. It has same engine and gearbox. So do u feel it is worth spending 4L more and get 330li m sport. 3 series is my dream car. I knew u owned the same when u did amazon basics tyre pressure video and wanted to get review of this beast by ur end.
I didn't drive 330L version yet, it's the long wheel base as I have said in the video already I simply didn't like that even this regular 330i has become so long and wider now compared to earlier 3 series.... the Limousine variant is even longer so it will slightly dampen the driving dynamic to be frank. The longer and wider the car the less nimble it feels simple as that. But again test drive both the models and see what suits you best.
Im in Malaysia and own the 330Li. Definitely a better car especially if you always carry full passengers. The regular 330i is just too stiff and rear seat passengers will suffer.
Even my BMW f30d gives 15 kmpl min. Highway pe 18-19 kmpl. It is because of 8 speed gear box + Coasting feature in bmw. The gear box keeps rpm below 1500 rpm
With respect to deleted features with respect to international market, cars are taxed around 50 percent here. A full option fortuner costs 62 lakhs whereas a 330i full option sits at 65 lakhs. Bmw is able to do this only through deleting features otherwise it would shoot up like the fortuner.
Mine is a 2021 330i just looks like yours (not a M sport), But has a heads up display that shows directions, radio controls and stuff. Mine is Black so I do like the chrome on the kidney beans, same alloy wheels as yours. If you turn on your echo mode, the dials turn blue and right side dial shows Kmpg. I do like the BMW maps that come up in the middle as well as on the heads up display. It also has the ADAS - Auto collision breaking, lane keep control, vibrates the steering wheel, if your are going out of lane or if someone is in your blind spot. You can control if you want to hear the speed limit warning, which I disabled.
Ranjit dada, this review makes alot more sense than those car enthusiasts channel reviews... Though I dont own one bmv but who wouldnt love to see such honest reviews... Do continue it. This originality is rare... 💙👌
very honest and genuine summary at the end. I used to be a very big fan of german cars and i have owned a skoda rapid diesel with dsg but the main problem with german cars is their pathetic after sales.
Hi Ranjit! I have been following your videos (tech reviews) for some time now and find your reviews quite useful. This was the first time I watched a video on this channel and I liked it too. If I were to nitpick I would say that there were a few occassions where you were not letting your friend to finich his question/comment and was jumping into your views. It will be nice if you can watch out for this and improve in your upcoming videos.
I totally agree with you Ranjit, Those safety features work well, even when I am parking in the garage, the front sensors, side sensors when I am too close to the garage side wall, it beeps and the front collision is awesome and lane keep all are good features. However I am missing the auto parallel park feature that is not on my BMW. We (Me, wife, Kids) all only buy Black cars, so yes, my c300, BMW 330i, Merc E350, all are black.
Hello Raniit, the main reason we are paying the most is because the total taxes we pay makes the car twice the price as how much the company receives per sale of the car, you payed 58 L company makes around 30 L and hence the ridiculous amounts of cost cutting, also the volumes of these cars sold in India is relatively very less, so perhaps, there are trying to extract more profit per car too.
Sir I'm confused between 330 i m sport vs long wheel base version but it costs 5 lakh more but it gets bigger sunroof and keyless entry and lit bit more features What should I go for
For underbody not hitting the speed breakers i will suggest you to get a shock absorber buffers on all 4 wheels. Still underbody will get hit 3 out 10 times but its better than nothing. And i personally like Mercedes engine more , but both bmw and merc are out of my budget
Best way to improve the ride comfort on a BMW is to get rid of the RFT tyres and put regular tubeless. Ofcourse this means that you need a space saver tyre that will eat up the boot space. You also have to be more careful of the alloy wheels that get bent easily with the RFT but not as easy with regular tubeless.

I think you are wrong about the C300, I agree it is only behind by .4 sec from 0-100kph, so it is right there on the tail, what are you talking about? C-Class is definitely not a chaffer driven car. it is comfy, better looking, and powerful. better turning radius. As a person driving long distances with all these cars, by far the most uncomfortable car (seats) is the BMW.
Hi one input for Run flats .. we have a couple of BMWs in our family .. i personally drive the X7 signature had a Verna just like u 😊.. to have a better ride comfy ride I would advice to increase the tyre pressure to 38 or 39 psi nitrogen air instead of 32 … it will save ur tires on bad roads and pot holes .. for a very long period of time . I noticed ur car has done only 8000 odd kms I have done the same kms in 11 months of my X7 ownership . Just my input .. no one from bmw will recommend this .. to u but if u are not into racing , conrnering and all .. it will be perfect . I keep 42 psi for my X7 have driven to top speeds of 220 plus had no problem when it’s came to Traction and handling .
Interesting, yeah it's 18" on mine the regular PSI is 36 but I was keep it around 35 as I feel at 36 it gets a bit more bumpy ride..... Never tried filling nitrogen using normal air.
