One good thing I see is the looted artifacts have been preserved very well. We indians dont have pride in our hindu heritage. Still so many temple idols get stolen and sold to international smugglers . We do not raise any alarm about that. Look at many of the temples which are 1500 to 2000 yrs old. They are so badly maintained for lack of funds. Yes British looted so many things from us atleast now we should have the pride of our civilization and do what we can to preserve what we have.
