Welcome back, Richest fans! Beijing in China currently houses one of the most unusual structures around, the China Central Television Headquarters. Instead of being a typical skyscraper, it's designed in a very eye-catching way. It’s all part of China’s drive to modernise their buildings. As a result, the CCTV tower is one of the most expensive buildings in the world. Yet for many years, it was empty due to a big incident during the Chinese New Year. Today, we’re going to delve into the history, features, and costs of this unusual building. On top of that, we’ll see other incredible structures created by the same design team across the globe.

@@inkmasterzaneimz5698 There are better structures still present. Be it the pyramids or the ancient structures and temples in India made thousands of years ago. But just coz it hasn't fallen till now doesn't mean it never will. With time even rocks turn into dust and soil turns into stone over a period of thousands of years. So I'll stand my point again, no engineering marvel exists forever. I was just telling the guy, even tho civil engineers exist it'll still be scary during disasters. Civil Engineers aren't gods.

It looks useless. Imagine having so much space and building essentially two separate buildings that are meant to work together. Imagine being on the 20th floor of one side and needing to be on the exact same floor, but on the other side. It would take forever.
No worse than two separate buildings but you have the option to go up or down.

So it's not empty. The floor area is 4.18 mil sq. ft., not 5 mil. sq. ft.,about 500,000 sq. ft. more than the Freedom Tower at World Trade Center.

Design looks too unsafe to live/work in. Due to how sky scrapers are constantly subject to strong winds, there is a chance that the building could topple over, or fall due to how it is heavy on one side. Looks like the weight distribution is so unstable, They should construct another tower in between the middle to support the center, which could potentially prevent a toppling over if heavy winds or over time would make instability make the building fall.

To me, the new cctv and other wired Chinese building design is not only a total disaster but also uneconimical that burns taxpayers money like trash. From the sense of innovation and design, it satisfies a few people’s special preference , but the cost is way too higher, it should not happen in reality, in stead it should be just in a computer . Let the the insane be ones selfs world
